Growing Pains

I Won’t Love is for anyone holding on, toying around with a past love; anyone who has found themself in an ongoing situationship, wondering if they're getting in their own way. After breaking things off with my first real love, I left New York to spend time with my mom in Phoenix, Arizona. It felt like I had left half of my heart with someone else, and that I’d never know my full self ever again. I wrote this song to almost say, “call me when you hear this” to them. The process of bringing it all to life in the production was absolutely seamless; my good friend, Devan Skaggs, and I sat in his home studio in Phoenix while he did the most wonderful job producing, mixing, and mastering this record. For anyone unable to imagine themselves ever being able to find love again, this song is for you.
