Astronox Festival in Texas, October 2022. A rare thing occurred - I got to play a two-hour closing set at the end of the insanely inspiring lineup of Saturday night, before a morning sound break. There are some major wiggles in this set, of the crunchy/glitchy variety, in keeping with the flow for the night. Ending with some gentle touches, like a sonic hug.

It was an delight to throw down at the first of many (fingers crossed) Nectar Festival on their Friday Night. 

Here were have the next in my "Stick to Your Guns' series. It has been a while since I posted, but I found this set to fit the STYG perfectly. 

STYG is all about roots for me. Its how it started and its how it will continue on. So where are my roots as AppleCat? What aspects have stayed with me despite interchanging styles? What gives me that unique tingle when I hear it?

Multi cultural sounds, deep fairytale bass, erotic undertones, Classical/Cinematic beauty, rebellion, nostalgia, - and of course that motherfucking cosmic carnal dubstep. My intention is to create and share a mystical and primal underworld  journey through dance - then, to have us all come out the other side moved in some way. Myself Included. As such every so often, I craft a "Stick to your Guns" to remind myself -and anchor me- where I know my creative alignments are strongest.
