Audio of my live performance as "Science Patrol" for the Volt Divers Experimental Synth Collective at Lovecraft Bar PDX, May 09, 2015. This was taken direct from the house mixer. There were no computers involved in this performance, only hardware synths and drum machines played live! A good pair of headphones is highly recommended.

I've been compiling tracks of artists who have remixed some of the classics, for quite some time now, with the intent to make a unique mix. It has been pretty challenging, but these tracks bring me right back to the beginning of learning the mass amount of power music holds within us. Movement. Emotion. Compassion.. Music never ceases to allow us to let go and give in to the waves of sound. So, I felt the need to put this out there, once and for all. In the year 2020 the word foresight has especially potent meaning. Hindsight they say is 2020, and this mix aims to redirect our intentions towards the road ahead.

This mix was conceptually started as a Full Moon Library set at CoSM Chapel of Sacred Mirrors last winter. The track selection reflects the winter and spring of 2020. There was optimism for what this year had in store and the early working title of “foresight” was anticipating what promised to be an exciting creative year ahead.

The curation happened in a number of sifts in which at least 4 previous versions of this same mix were made  as it evolved over a season of refinements. The final mix was done live on a Twitch Stream in mid April with cloud oriented visuals. It was mastered in Ilum studios on the Sunshine Coast of BC. by Akhentek. Special thanks to Frogg Acuda for the Traktor S4  controller to make this on.

This music is purposefully nebulaic and lyrical. It is meant to uplift and relax. Crystal & Spore are deeply grateful to all the musicians for their offerings. We encourage you to take the tracklist and look into all the artists.
