She said: this tune started out with a silky, jazzy, lounge-y, kind of groove that Gary came up with. He sang the opening lines to me which set the vocal scene for us....he was looking for a kind of sultry vibe from me, and i did my best to capture the essence of what he was wanting here. It's always fun for me to try to tap into different sides of my vocal...and, of course, when Gary creates such cool music for me to immerse myself in it's not hard to do at all. In my mind i could totally see the world where this "groovy gal" lives...all thanks to the music and the VERY cool lyrics that Gary wrote. After we got the vocal melodies sketched out, Gary began to paint more and more colors onto this musical canvas we were creating. I'm always both surprised and impressed by all of the different sounds that he is able to layer together that (in my opinion) keeps our music different and unique while also keeping it sounding like us. I love the music he created for us here, and i love the vocals that he brought as well. Gary has one of those voices that you instantly recognize...such a strong tone and deep texture in his voice...i love it lots! Thanks, Gary, for continuing to play outside of the box with me :)

He Said: Just coming off watching a Noir sci fi series Altered Carbon I was in the mood for something with a little sizzle and heat... I had a kind of jazzy lounge vibe in mind with an atmospheric sense and so I presented the idea to Jaime with a short section I put down and I was just blown away by the vocals she came up with for this... For me it just captivates ya as she puts this really mysterious celestial steam on the pallet of sound. I think all Jaime's performances are amazing but she really did a perfect vocal for this song I feel and she captured that thing we were looking for perfectly.

This is my channel for the beautiful music of my friends from the Soundcloud community

I am a music lover and normally a passive user. But in times of covid I’d like to share my personal faves with every one out there. Please don't stop taking care of yourselves and thank you for your music!

Working through multiple arts (drawing, music, poetry), Michaël Koswill composes melancholic music inspired by space and silence. Initially trained in percussion, he has long explored sounds to create particular atmospheres such as choreographies or soundtracks of films whose mysterious stories are only visible in his imagination. He also writes poems, paints and draws what he considers to be "brief forms for lively gestures".

Within the artistic collective Unclearpicture, he composes and writes texts inspired by the original photographic work of Sylvain Entressangle.

Travaillant au travers de multiples arts (dessin, musique, poésie, Michaël Koswill compose des musiques mélancoliques inspirées par l’espace et le silence. Initialement formé aux percussions, il explore depuis longtemps les sons pour créer des ambiances particulières comme autant de chorégraphies ou de bandes originales de films dont les histoires mystérieuses seraient uniquement visibles dans son imagination. Il écrit par ailleurs des poèmes, peint et dessine ce qu'il considère être des "formes brèves pour gestes vifs". 

Au sein du collectif artistique Unclearpicture, Il compose et écrit des textes inspirés du travail photographique original de Sylvain Entressangle.
