Epic Alternative Piano Rock--maybe be my favorite song I've ever written and has saved my life (you've no idea how literally) more than one time. It's also the Theme of the Fictional Comedy Podcast, Ope! Legends of Rapsia!

The Reins is a song I wrote like a decade ago--I don't actually recall writing the ol' gal. However, once upon a Rocky Mountain white-out, when the E break, and growing up on a dirt road were the only thing sparing me from the sudden break lights before me.

I triumphantly sang this song as I navigated the literal lethal conditions out there in Wyoming. To wit:
I spend the next three nights in Laramie, unable to leave due to the one road out of town--that upon which I slid in on--was gated closed.

"I tighten my grip, pull myself straight back
As I'm holdin' onto The Reins
I bluster and fuss
And I spit and I cuss
As morality I just feign

Wrote this song for and about my beloved and late littlest Sister. Had she not come to visit me last Saturday, they have found me in my studio because of the smell--crosslegged, smirking, and dead.
She wanted to go for a walk.
I told her we didn't have a yard,
Like they do back at Blues Church.

But Gypsy Girl didn't care, she just wanted to Flouncey--wanna go for a walk.
The paramedics found me sitting against the front door. Laughing, crying, telling Gypsy she's a good girl, and completely locked and choking in a seizure state wherein I'd remained for over an hour.
