After a brief hiatus due to equipment failure, JR returns after a tour of Australia and New Zealand armed with a tonne of promos, of which he selects an upfront and eclectic 2 hours of tunes for this weeks show and a bit of a chat about each. These are some of the first records that pulled me out of French house and into the deeper side of electronic music: Shari Vari, Join in the Chant, What Time Is Love?, early I-F and Parallax Corporation, Alden Tyrell, Legowelt, Carretta, Agoria, and later the Gesloten Cirkel and Hacker cuts. Played in chronological order, they trace a clear line from early proto-techno and EBM into The Hague’s electro machinery and the darker European sound that came after it. I haven’t heard a lot of these in years, so the show is a way of going back to where it started, before jumping forward to the present with Blawan – WFT to close it out.

Biography: 
Armin has been into techno for over 30 years. Started DJing in the 90s. He is still Hobby-DJing, mainly with Vinyl. Since the early 2000 years active in the scene in and around Erlangen / Nuremberg (Germany). Member of local non-Profit Electronic Party Collective called "STRONG SIGNALS". Mind rave, goose bumps, deepness, groove, a smile on the face. Thats what its all about... His music was also released on labels: Greyscale, spclnch, Ohm Series Digital and on [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB].
