Improv No. 2

This musical piece was dedicated as a tribute to the great cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (SRT) a.k.a God of Cricket! I composed this emotional track when Sachin retired from world cricket on Nov 16 2013.

Submitted this track as an entry for the Garritan Weekend Challenge on Piano. I have to master the track as the original was sounding too low.

Meteor Shower

This is a piece that I call a 'continuous piece' meaning that when I feel like writing music but don't really have anything specific in mind, I open this piece up and just add to it, whatever comes to me at that moment. This is a Piano Trio, meaning that it is composed for three pianos, not the normal piano and string trio. This was uploaded due to the weekly challenge from the Garritan Blog, from the Make Music Inc. I hope you enjoy it.

Music is a huge part of who I am. Music is what I love to read, write, play, and listen to. If I'm not playing it, I'm writing it. If I can't write it, I'm listening to it.
I've been playing the piano since I was seven years old, and have never stopped since. I played by ear until I joined band in middle school at which time I learned how to read music. In high school I picked up the trumpet, and then the french horn. At the same time I had friends who taught me their instruments, so I picked up the flute, and saxophone. When I got out of high school I was playing many different instruments, some of which I could read music and play we, some of which I only played by ear.
I began to compose my eight grade year and had a very poor-mans version of a music writing program, but did the best I could with what I had. My senior year I purchased Finale music writing software and I really took off. I began writing music all of the time, because I could finally have the sound I wanted and needed.
I now am still a musician and composer. I compose as a hobby for large orchestras consisting of at least fifty pieces or more, as well as including choir in on some of them. I love to score soundtrack, and arrange lyrical soundtracks. I also compose for other ensembles, and arrange music for different type of ensembles.
Music is more than just music, it's a source of expression, a source of emotion. An extension of who I am.
