Tora Torres is an Atlanta based DJ known for bringing eclectic blends of music that produce a cohesive sound not typical of many DJs. Tora started her love affair with music early in her childhood developing and fine tuning her skills for music selections. She was often sought after to select music and soundscapes for parties, cultural events, and major music festivals which led to her deep appreciation of music from all genres.

As a singer songwriter she has a special ear for melody and music detail. As a music selector she recognizes the importance of music preservation and music history. Her style ranges from, but is not limited to Afro,Brazilian Samba,Hip-Hop, Funk, Latin Jazz, Rock, Alternative Soul, Soulful House, World Music, and Underground Eclectic tunes. Calling on her Afro-Cuban roots, Tora enjoys pushing musical boundaries and taking musical risks while blending and remixing various music genres together. This style of DJing is something she continues to develop while using her creative intuition to enhance her music palate.

Tora has been a regularly featured DJ at the annual House In The Park ATL Weekender Recovery Party, Ecstatic Dance Atlanta, and has secured several guest spots at regional music festivals. When Tora is not Djing she spends her time educating students at regional and local schools through her organization Rhythm Revolution. Tora is also the owner of Red Wire Entertainment, and curator of For The Record ATL and The Goddess Grooves Music Series.

Shaping the musical landscape in his city since his late teens, Mike Zarin is a strong presence in Atlanta’s underground dance scene. Mike has been immersed in the Atlanta music scene for more than 10 years during which time he has built relationships with Dj's, club owners and music industry heads establishing himself as an influential tastemaker. Throughout the years, Mike has had the opportunity to share his passion with music via radio (Houseworks & Sound Like This Radio Programs - WRAS 88.5FM 2004-2007), club (Head of 4Deep Promo & DJ Crew) and production (CaZ project with partner Chris Nicholson).

His DJ sets have taken him all over the world from music festivals like SummerStage (Central Park NYC), Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide (France), Cully Jazz (Switzerland), Southern Soul (Montenegro), Terraneo (RBMA/Croatia), Sunsplash; parties like Soul In The Horn, Golden Record in NYC to numerous events in London, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Tel Aviv, Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Hamburg, Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Lisbon, Brussels, Ghent, Liege, Geneva, Sierre, Prague, Bratislava, Vienna, Zagreb, and other parts of the world. 

Rustam is well known for his long 6-8 hrs vinyl sets in New York City. He was a resident DJ at Public Records, Virgin Hotel, Ace Hotel NY & Brooklyn, Lilli Star at Moxy Brooklyn Hotel, Izzy Rose, Studio 151, Nublu, Record Room. He also played records at some of the most important NYC venues like Nowadays, Elsewhere, Jupiter Disco, Le Bain, Black Flamingo, Magick City, Milagrosa, Good Bar, including regular DJ sets at Brooklyn Museum and Rockefeller Center.

He is best known for being the founder of Jazzystan Music Festival (this ran from 2009 in Almaty, Kazakhstan) in his home country. He booked and produced live acts featuring artists like Jamiroquai, Incognito, OMAR, Marcos Valle, Jazzanova, Gilles Peterson, LEFTO, Nubya Garcia, EZRA Collective, Kyoto Jazz Massive feat. N’Dea Davenport (Brand New Heavies), Nathan Haines, Jessica Lauren, Soil & Pimp Sessions, J.A.M., Root Soul, Quasimode, Cro-Magnon, Jazzanova feat. Wahine–an award-winning radio show host, music blogger, interviewer, and event producer–has worn many hats since returning to the decks after a 10-year hiatus. Her comeback began with winning the Defected Croatia Mix Contest in 2019, making her international debut at the festival and reigniting her DJ career.

Her appearance at the Defected festival alongside house legends and luminaries propelled her into the spotlight of the international disco and house scene, leading to her current status as a globally celebrated talent. 

She co-hosts Spin City on MyHouseRadio.fm and is a Passion Ibiza Radio resident. She has contributed guest mixes to various platforms including NTS, Mi-House, Sinestesia Ibiza, and Disco Deviance.

Her mashups have charted on Hypeddit, gaining support from radio shows worldwide. She hosts events in Atlanta, including her signature event, Wahine’s Hideaway, featuring international guests like Dicky Trisco, TORIBIO, Fran Deeper and The Funk District.

Wahine has supported renowned artists Crazy P, DJ Sneak, Lego, Nickodemus, Moodena, Richard Earnshaw, Captain Planet, Hotmood, Dicky Trisco, and DJ Disciple at events in Los Angeles, Atlanta, London, and Amsterdam. Her radio show has featured guests such as The Reflex, Aroop Roy, and The Patchouli Brothers.

Described as “Disco in Paradise,” her sound is sundrenched and full of global influences. Funky licks are spiced with percussive jams. Equal parts brains and brawn with every beat telling a story of rhythm and roots.

Trained in a dozen world dance forms, Wahine is known to spend her last track on the dancefloor in communion with her fellow dancers.
