Just above the valley diffused in the fluffed-up clouds arises colourful towers. The receding mist opens up high castle walls enveloped by wandering garden paths. Wherever you go, whatever you lay eyes on – greenery is dancing with the sky of blue. The sun has made it under the tree canopy to illuminate overflowing basins full of fire-red fish while trickling down water tickles lovingly ears mercilessly worn by the city.
Indeed ears can rest from here up to the welcoming flute of waves heard just beyond the horizon. The flute heard so recently and at the same time anticipated for more than six years – Luigi Tozzi finally leaves an imprint on Black Wave’s sandy shores. Raised in Rome, the DJ and Producer takes influence from the timeless Italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere. There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions.
Over the last years, @luigitozzi has been making a name for himself as one of the go-to DJs for his distinct brand of techno that draws both from ambient and club music. @hypnus, @mentalmodern, @nonseries, @outis-music and @012twelve – Luigi has kept his output within a close family of labels. Βorn, raised, and based in Patras, Greece, Alexskyspirit’s experience with the decks started in the early 00s in his hometown clubs and bars, blending his early influences of dark, progressive house with psychedelic trance. As he gradually honed his production skills and started shaping his musical identity, he shared the stage with some well-established names over those years, such as Edit Select, Keith Carnal, Charlotte De Witte, Dax J, Oxia, and Robert Dietz. His self-released and label-released material caught the attention of respected individuals from a broad techno spectrum, the likes of Amelie Lens, Joris Voorn, Abstract Division, Fabio Florido, Pan Pot, Deepbass, Ness, Claudio PRC, and Blazej Malinowski, who played his tracks on various occasions. Finally, this can also be a perfect example of how his sound shaped where he stands as a producer now.

his focus and sonic environments are weaved and led by his affiliation with the coldest season of the year, the echoes and the grey scenery during rainfall, the colourful and noisy urban landscape of the city traffic, and the impactful, awe-inspiring creations of architectural nature. His sound has a light, gentle approach combined with minimal elements of hypnotic ambience, distorted textures, and cinematic pads to conjure an aesthetically-pleasing yet deep atmosphere.

With inspiration drawing from the infinite universe. Atmospheric pads, perpetuating textures and cyclical rhythms make her sound somewhat perennial; just as the universe may itself be.

High above the stars, where the wind no longer blows and silence envelops the universe, rises a mountain of angular rock - ancient and lonely in the endless darkness. Its peaks stretch out and touch the light of past suns. It listens to the whispers of distant galaxies and the mesmerising cosmic storms that Re:Axis brings to our ears.

José Diogo Correia aka Re:Axis started his journey in sound at young age, perceiving the vibrations from acoustic and electronic instruments as a tool to create space and travel within. He has released music and toured the world since 2006. It was the year he set the love intentions to share, connect and get inspired through energy and frequencies. All the experience and maturity acquired over the past makes him a unique artist of the dance music scene, whose musical development we have been following for a long time. So we are more than delighted to have the chance to host him and his music on our imprint. 

Re:Axis provides us with a mix that skilfully combines repetitive, hypnotic patterns with mystical and cosmic atmospheres, all underlined with a special psychedelic twist. He stays true to his name and manifests a real sound mantra - a steady movement around a central axis that is constantly changing and yet remains stable. The music becomes a rotation, a trance, a journey that leads both into the inner self and into the boundless outer space.
