Presenting ‘Sequence’; the first single from @nicolas-haquin’s debut album, featuring @pikselsound on violins and vocal samples from LARA. Playing on the theme of wakefulness, the song embodies a sense of overcoming and glides through ethereal soundscapes. The rich textural introduction and bridge sections are contrasted with a warming downtempo / future garage groove first section, before climaxing with a leftfield juke-inspired rhythm and descending back to the ground.

Haquin is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Blending live-recorded instruments with electronic textures, his sound moves fluidly between ambient lo-fi, electronica, and indie folk. Constantly evolving, Haquin’s music is defined by rich, organic layers and a deep sense of atmosphere. As a collaborator and mentor, he’s passionate about helping other artists shape and share their creative vision.
