1. Leave the beatless path for a bit. 

2. Write electronic, polyrhythmic, odd time sig material for a planned recording session later this year in London. 

3. Polypulse, polyrhythms, odd time signatures.

"I was smelling flowers in the yard, and when I stood up I took a deep breath and the blood all rushed to my brain and I woke up dead on my back in the grass. I had apparently fainted, or died, for about sixty seconds. My neighbor saw me but he thought I had just suddenly thrown myself on the grass to enjoy the sun. During that timeless moment of unconsciousness I saw the golden eternity. I saw heaven. In it nothing had ever happened, the events of a million years ago were just as phantom and ungraspable as the events of now, or the events of the next ten minutes. It was perfect, the golden solitude, the golden emptiness, Something-Or- Other, something surely humble. There was a rapturous ring of silence abiding perfectly. There was no question of being alive or not being alive, of likes and dislikes, of near or far, no question of giving or gratitude, no question of mercy or judgment, or of suffering or its opposite or anything. It was the womb itself, aloneness, alaya vijnana the universal store, the Great Free Treasure, the Great Victory, infinite completion, the joyful mysterious essence of Arrangement. It seemed like one smiling smile, one adorable adoration, one gracious and adorable charity, everlasting safety, refreshing afternoon, roses, infinite brilliant immaterial gold ash, the Golden Age. The "golden" came from the sun in my eyelids, and the "eternity" from my sudden instant realization as I woke up that I had just been where it all came from and where it was all returning, the everlasting So, and so never coming or going; therefore I call it the golden eternity but you can call it anything you want. As I regained consciousness I felt so sorry I had a body and a mind suddenly realizing I didn't even have a body and a mind and nothing had ever happened and everything is alright forever and forever and forever, O thank you thank you thank you."

Marco Lucchi & Henrik Meierkord - The Golden Eternity

This is second of the four tracks of a new collaboration with my music friend Pete Swinton. I will be re-working some of his tracks from his excellent Butterfly and Ship album.

It was mixed in the AUM app on my iPad and used iPad effects apps such as OtherDesertCities, MoogeFooger MF104s Delay,Speakers and Grnad Finale.

the 2018 was a very difficult year for me ...
understanding after so many years of having come to the end of a relationship was not easy to accept. I tried with all my strength to save something that escaped me like sand in my hands.
at the same time I poured all my interior experience into the creative act, as a source of salvation, into a cathartic act.
suspension between abyss and ecstasy ...
I was feverishly working on the realization of my first album.
project which, moreover, was interrupted due to the breakdown of my mac .. I lost several important information, such as sounds created with the help of different vst plugins .. and I still try to recover data etc .. to continue the project.
even today it is not easy for me to listen to this piece again.
it takes me back in time, and inevitably a few tears still line my face.
however, it is one of the few pieces accompanied by a text written at the time. I find it extraordinary how pain is able to take new shape through art.

Packaged Lives

I started creating music on my old PC back in 2002 using DAWs such as Buzz, Fl Studio and Reason. As my artist name suggest I mostly compose tunes that have an ambient edge. My main passion is creating soundscapes, be they soft drifting drones/piano pieces/heavily synth driven, weirdly abstract and classical and orchestral pieces. I mainly compose using apps on my IPad but also make use of whatever instruments I have lying around such as my Pocket Operators, Modal Craftsynth, my favourite is an Early Learning Centre keyboard.

In the past my tracks have been played in BBC Radio Oxford and BBC 6 Music. Over the years I have collaborated with people from all over the world. Please message me if you would like to collaborate 😀
