such a
heavenly chorus 
through hell and back
memories
made with family 
friends
a legacy
born to bring forth energy
positive vibrations
a feel good gathering
beginning and afterwards
become legendary

I try not to revisit themes
that have already been done to death
leave them
we were all meant to lead
the community needs you
and me true indeed
let’s proceed
to push culture forward
society sees us
sort of like a structure
or more of an institution 
we pass down tradition
sharing the story 
with whom it shall reach
ask yourself what it is that we teach
when we show through example 
the values we keep
should we speak
since we know that they’re listening
think
or are we too scared 
hypocritical
weak

with kicks that hit
for the people to feel
