It's finally time to set off on your journey, and it's an exciting moment as you wonder what kind of world awaits you!


In 5 billion years, the sun we see every day will exhaust its fuel and meet its end. The sun, which will expand larger than Earth's orbit, will engulf the planet and obliterate everything on it. If humanity manages to avoid extinction and maintain its civilization, we will abandon our mother Earth and migrate to another planet. However, the sun of that new planet will also eventually die, and once again, we will set off for another planet. There is no place in this universe where humanity can live permanently.

Is this tragedy, which will occur 5 billion years from now, the first of its kind in this universe? No, it is a catastrophe that has struck countless intelligent life forms over the course of 13.7 billion years. There must have been life forms that, after repeated cycles of war-induced civilizational collapse and rebuilding, could not escape in time and were wiped out by the death of their star. 

Will humanity be able to depart before the death of the sun?


The melody and arrangement are from the MacOS7 era, about 30 years ago.
The external synthesizer sounds that were played with this MIDI file at the time no longer exist.
I replaced them with similar sounds, but I may revise them again.

Messing about with some things that have been in my head.  The opening uses a jazz progression that I have been fiddling with for a while, with the bass part done on my Fender Jazz.  The middle section is meant to be contrasting and somewhat chaotic.
