Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.

The label has already featured a new series of EP's showcasing the best new dance music and future funk, house and disco from the world's finest producers.

We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control PAPER was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies.

It continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy!

I create Press & Promotional campaigns to promote new music releases. Predominantly 'Underground House', 'Techno', bit of 'Balearic' and my beloved 'Disco'.   I'd like to think I have a very personal approach, working with friends & contacts simply sharing great music over a chat. Superhero/ Sound Manipulator


Flash Atkins is a super hero who had his gravy days in the 80s saving the world with his ability to manipulate sound.  Unfortunately he's fallen on hard times and can be spotted in the less salubrious parts of London, Manchester and West Yorkshire often stoned or drunk on borrowed money and time.

To make ends meet he uses his special powers to remix and make deep disco music for Paper Recordings.

Let’s hope it gets him back on track.
