Belgian electronic pioneer, Pole Folder needs little introduction. A former protégée of the UK legend and Bedrock boss, John Digweed, Pole Folder broke onto the scene in 2001 and has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and live performer showcasing an exciting and unique brand of melodic house and techno. Signed to Global Underground, Renaissance and the aforementioned bedrock, Pole Folder exudes a timeless class in everything he makes.
Munich-based Aethon is the Deep-House/Ethereal-Techno alias of DJ/Producer and Modular Synth enthusiast Christian Schnall. Socialised and influenced by the alternative music of the ‘90s, he combines the melancholic teen spirit with the electronic sound of today.

The single features the vocals from highly sought-after vocalist Jinadu. With collaborations to date with Black Coffee, Hot Since 82, Eli Brown, Jamie Jones ad Dixon. He is also known as one half of The Beauty Room, a luscious, 70’s Americana inspired project that employed the skills of Grammy award winning engineer Peter Henderson (Supertramp) and string arranger Paul Buckmaster (David Bowie, Elton John) to great effect.
In original form, deep kicks and a rubbery low end form the bedrock on which sparse percussion and bright and airy synths work their magic. Jinadu’s ethereal vocals add to the air of mysticism which becomes a maelstrom of melancholy energy. A real meeting of minds with far-reaching creative potential. On remix duties, Fur Coat goes deep and musical creating a deeply hypnotic version, while Armonica slows the tempo and toughens the low-end grit with a haunting Reese bass. The release also features an ambient reimagination and shortened radio cut.

Opening 2022 by adding new talent to their roster, Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Anaqram to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Russia, the Anaqram duo has achieved measurable success since first emerging in 2020 with a trio of releases via Ruben de Ronde's Statement! imprint. It proved to be an auspicious debut for Moscow residents Anton and Maxim, who had conceptualized the project just a year prior. The duo cast traditional genre blueprints aside and were quickly recognized for a sound that carried the melody and emotion of progressive house, along with the groove-centric rhythms of tech-house and techno. Two years on and Anaqram now finds themselves with an impressive resume, highlighted by releases for Anjunabeats, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley, Songspire and UV, while electronic music icon's Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta and Miss Monique continue to champion their sound. Continuing that upward trajectory as 2022 begins, Anaquam presents their much-anticipated Replug debut entitled ‘Conjunction'.

Getting the release underway and sitting as one of Anaqram's most heady productions to date is the title selection ‘Conjunction'. Warm beats and a full, rolling groove set the foundation for a narrative of whimsical arps, uniquely tailored percussion and shimmering overlays. Pushing a poignant mood into the break; the duo marries ghostly vocals, warm bass swells and placid pads across the expansive interlude, building emotion with each successive pass as melodies open up, before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and key changing finale.

Rounding out the release are the pulsating grooves and intoxicating atmospheres of ‘No Matter'. Mysterious and uplifting throughout, it's a collage of wavy rhythms and fuzzy stabs which captivate leading into the break. Charming vocal phrases and delicate arps further the story as the centrepiece unfolds, bringing with them hopeful moods and transcendent vibes, before a breezy drop puts your senses on high for an emotive conclusion.

Operating at the peak of their creative powers, Anaqram continues to impress with their Replug debut ‘Conjunction'. A two-track showcase which sets the course for what promises to be another stellar year for the Russian duo.

June 2017's "Undersound", once again showcased Matan Caspi's abundant skillset on Particles. Demonstrating a mastery of his craft with the twin-track offering of sublime quality, Particles now returns to the EP with a pair of new remixes from Moldova and Hungary.

Originally from the Chisinau capital, Alex and Andrew have made quite a statement with their Lanvary production soubriquet. As the Moldovan pair continue to tear up dancefloors with their unique blend of music, the duo has benefitted from their diverse musical backgrounds, "melting various ingredients in their musical kitchen". Well over a century of production credits now sit proudly next to the Lanvary name as their work continues to find a raft of admirers and supporters. Stellar Fountain, Mistique Digital and Silk Music are just some of the heavy hitting labels to feature the 'double-headed dragon' with the December 2017, "Venus" EP for Proton Music showcasing a debut release on the flagship imprint. Regulars on Particles with a plethora of original material, the "Slingshot Ride", "Penumbra" and "Leviathan" EPs plus remixes from the likes of Fulltone, MINTZ and Matter, have kept the Lanvary name in the spotlight. Now retuning to the label for a second remix after February 2017's reworking of Kastis Torrau and Donatello, the Lanvary remix of "Undersound" takes the epic melodic foundations of the original and transforms them into a multi-faceted progressive house gem. Redolent in strong rhythm and ticking percussive cadence that bristles with emotion, the vocal so fundamental to the original plays its part in a stripped back breakdown.

Hungarian producer, Gabor Kaszas, has been a central figure in the underground progressive sound for well over a decade with his East Café production alter-ego. A strong proponent of the progressive scene, early work for Morphosis, Silk Music and Mistique Music, quickly blossomed into a distinctive and unique sound that has witnessed almost 500 production credits. Subsequent work for the likes of Clinique, Balkan Connection and Soundteller has continued to find the East Café sound a central tenet of the underground dance industry as Kaszas finds his work supported by leading figures including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and John Digweed. The "Peaks and Lows" EP was a notable highlight for Proton Music in late 2014 with remixes of Scotty.A and Magitman also providing rich entertainment. Furthermore, a host of releases for Particles has seen East Café find favour with his "Indian Summer" and "False Visions" EP in June 2016 and 2017. Now returning to the label and reworking Matan Caspi, the East Cafe remix takes "Undersound" on a driving rhythmic journey that delights with rapid-fire hats and strong beat. The vocals from the original sit front and centre while a chorus of additional production material extends the melodic themes of Caspi's original and transforms them into a meandering freeform extravaganza that hints at Middle Eastern sounds with its choice of instrumentation and percussive texture.
