As we enter 2024, a reminder that there is no fate. We make our path as we walk. And, if we are willing to give more than what we are required to give, we are actually in command.

One of the true pleasures of living in a northern country is the occasional feeling of the warmth of the winter sun on your face. There's a word for this --apricity. A brief burst of apricity warms both the body and the spirit.

I have creatively used the following instruments to create an atmosphere of corrupted people in the otherworld, there are some that choose to stay till nearly the end of the composition, leaving the harp to enter into the crimson horizon, night sky alone.

"Beginning" is a solo piano composition where post-minimalism meets pop influences to create a melody that is both nostalgic and warm.

Beginning

Sometimes you feel like you belong to another place. A remote place in which you find out positive emotions and marvelous people; maybe an interesting and surprising person. I think about the Mediterranean while writing these words. An island is capable of enclosing all this meaning, a little spot full of dreams and strong vibes.

This piece has been composed during the confinement experienced in Spain due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
