Laura Wyatt is an independent singer-songwriter whose music is a blend of folk, country and soul. With influences like Fleetwood Mac, Carole King, Amy Winehouse, and First Aid Kit, Laura writes songs that feel like quiet conversations or letters to a friend—honest, heartfelt, and deeply human.

Growing up in a small rural village in the UK, Laura was shaped by the stillness of nature, and the kind of quiet that encourages introspection. Music became a companion early on, helping her explore the emotional world around and within her.

Laura spent many years performing as a wedding and events singer, as well as teaching music and writing vocals parts for TV and film trailer music. After years of lending her voice to other people’s stories, she's now excited to be focusing fully on her career as an independent artist.

Her debut album, Last Train Home (2021), was a playful and introspective introduction to her original music, whilst her latest album, Hopeless Romantic (2025), establishes a more cohesive country-folk sound. With themes of love, grief, and hope woven throughout, the songs are carried by Laura’s acoustic guitar and voice, alongside contributions from a small group of musicians and friends.
