Here is my opening set for the Black Asteroid warehouse party in Denver. This was my first time playing a proper afterhours party and first time playing on a well tuned Funktion One rig since before the pandemic so it was a real treat. I've been really feeling the really quick, snappy styles of techno, but as an opening set it was fun to explore some slower, more spacey tracks, while making it a mission to keep up the energy and rhythm. MOTTO Podcast is a podcast series by Miia Magia. The podcast is linked to the label @mottosono that I run together with Mr. Barth in Helsinki.

Jussi is best known for founding Homotekno, the early 2010's queer underground party, which made a brief reappearance as a club night a few years ago. Jussi’s DJ sets usually consist of hypnotic techno and house grooves. This vinyl mix for Motto podcast showcases his love for deep, dubby after hours tracks by his favourite artists from Scandinavia.
