This songs been on S.C. awhile but its one of my favorites and sadly rings more true everyday.
I don't know if you've seen US news lately..have you noticed the profound deception?  Please pray for the US.
I ponder "something's missing" in the song. It's the gospel. We have changed the gospel of truth. It's been changed to a self help crusade...me me me.. as a nation we aren't seeing our need for a savior because sin isn't sin anymore.. we've been sooo decieved..We don't see how lost.. we are. But Praise God Jesus came to seek and save the lost!
About 15 years ago I wrote a song called World Revival( it was a flop) but I took an important phrase out of it and put it into this one "start in me awakening revival". That's my prayer, and I hope it speads like wildfire...

Silly Side note:
This song was so much fun to do! Casey Jake Josh and me all took turns trying to get the muted trumpet part right at the end, it was hillarious cause we all knew WE'D be the one to get it right.. LOL! 3 of us were wrong!!

Love Lane - Rocky Mountain (1979)

This is an overworked edition of a same named seashanty song, that was published last year. It continues the tradition of an old song, that tells us the story of greenland whale fishers and their fight with a whale, that might happened sometime in the 19th century. Special here: The whale won the fight!
The initial song „Greenland Whale Fisheries“ exists already in many versions of melodies and lyrics from different artists. A like melody came originally from the West Indies, but here it is modified in some verses. The lyrics exist in similar forms since a long time, some words and sentences were also modified in this version...
