So this is the first in my series of 'Tracks from the smelly cellar' where I'll be giving away a load of edits/bootlegs/mash up/tracks I'd put together for my DJ sets & haven't seen the light of day yet.

This is a edit I put together of Tori Amos's 'Professional Window'. I actually edited a great nu disco bootleg that was made Social Disco Club & added extra beats, vocals, edits & bass. I wouldn't normally give away an edit of an edit but i think this one is different enough from both the original & their bootleg to warrant it. It's also had great reactions when I've played it out so thought I'd share the love!

The very early Goodgroove records label artists sampled the heck out of early funk tracks and funily enough i came across the same tracks Featurecast used to make some of his early Funky Breaks bangers. So this tune is a bit of a homage to him (you'll know when you hear it) and the early Funky Breaks pioneers.

Awesome track, become a bit of a modern party classic over the last couple of years, I flipped it slightly, added some slightly tougher beats whilst hopefully keeping the organic vibe plus re-arranged the structure slightly adding an extra verse and chorus as I do tend to get a little obsessive about structure.
