Life Out of Balance Song Notes

Koyaanisqatsi is a 1982 American non-narrative documentary film directed and produced by Godfrey Reggio, featuring music by Philip Glass and cinematography by Ron Fricke. 

It is a Montage of different images set to music about ecology and man’s place and effect on nature.

The title comes from the Hopi word koyaanisqatsi, meaning "life out of balance"

Glass uses lots of repetitive interesting shapes in his Music, which was the starting thought for the musical Motif i developed for the Piano comping pattern.
