Alright, here is my latest EP. I never know what the best strategy is in terms of releasing EP's. I know I haven't spent weeks hyping it up but as soon as I think a project is ready I want you guys to hear it as soon as possible. That does mean however that sometimes the albums don't reach as many people as they could, which is why it would be amazing if you guys could share the album if you like it. Doing everything myself in terms of making, releasing, and promoting my music is hard sometimes, so I would really appreciate any help you guys could give me. 

In terms of the EP, I ask you to approach it with an open mind; as with all my releases, it consists of many different genres, and the freedom to explore different styles is what makes music so exciting for me, so I hope you guys enjoy it. On the whole the album is more upbeat than some of my other stuff, and each track has a huge amount of time invested in it, and is the result of layer upon layer slowly being built up, so take some time to really listen to the songs and pick them apart. We are delighted to bring back the Ukrainian producer Bob Fanzidon to the PHW roster for another original. Last time he was with us was back in August 2014 with his “Last Reason” EP that included 2 originals and remixes from Alex H and Lunarbeam.

This new release, titled as “One” brings more melodies from this talented producer that we are sure will be tasty stuff. It’s rich on melodic hooks and driving melodies.

On remixes we see a lineup of artists that definitely is to peak on this release, and we are thrilled to welcome back the Serbian producer D&Z to PHW.  As we have seen from him in the past, he is to take you on a progressive journey, with his trademark rolling elements and flying melodic hooks that he spoilt us with in the past. It’s another fresh production from the Serbian maestro, have a go at it. 

Next up is a debut on the label, this time from a producer based in Brazil that most of you probably know a lot about from the past years. It’s been a bit more silent in the past, but it is great to see Luiz B back on the progressive scene. He delivers a driving and energy filled production for us here and we really love to see him back on the market. 

The finale of this release is a welcome return from one of our close buddies here on PHW as long time label server Infinity State joins back once again. He is giving it a more trancey feel, as we often see from him. It’s as pure and energetic as always. and we are very happy to see him back for another adventure!

Today we have a truly classic track with us as our PHW / PHW Elements Christmas Gift, as we see the track that really kicked things of from this absolutely amazing talent from the UK, the one and only Toby Hedges and his timeless production ”Mirai”. It feels like just around the corner, and still it is almost 3 years since this track arrived to the world. About the original there isn't a thungs that haven't been said over the years, and we leave it like that. We are certain all prog lovers remember this PHW signing. 

Though we see it coming back, and what is better than bringing another tremendous producer back on it, and whipp on a total remake of it. Our good buddy and co worker on PHW, Eleve is giving this worldwide recognized track his tweak and twist, and the out come is fair to say absolutely superb with a juicy groove, cool vocal elements added on together with the laid back and yet pumping feel. We absolutely love it, and hope to see a lot of attention for it, as it is what it deserves, super work Jarl as always!

Our first release of 2016 is a highly anticipated EP from SNR, the acclaimed Bay Area-based producer and DJ. Previously featured on "Arrival 02" and "Silk Royal Showcase 05", the three anthemic cuts that comprise this release are finally available in unmixed form.

Quite early in its progression, "Limbo" sets the euphoric tone of SNR's release, in general. A stadium-rocking groove is punctuated by a thrilling chord sequence, while a variety of other melodic and even vocal flourishes further enhance the soundscape. The breakdown features an extremely innovative, funky, and exhilarating new lead -- one that clearly demonstrates the artist's deft experience at moving the dancefloor.

The subsequent cut, "Umami", is equally radiant and club-oriented. Centering on an uplifting vocal motif, the song develops into a peak-hour stormer, courtesy of a thunderous bassline and neon-tinged lead.

Closing out the EP, a 'Deep' take on the aforementioned "Limbo" proves to be one of SNR's most intricate and unique compositions to date. A subterranean bassline immediately grounds the remix in deeper terrain, as does the heavily filtered, yet emotive piano theme. In the breakdown, we are treated to the inspiring melodic motifs of the original mix; yet, just as we anticipate an explosion of energy, the song refreshingly reverts back to a smooth, after-hours groove. All in all, SNR's EP is a veritable master class in intelligent, uplifting, and DJ-centered electronic music production.

The benchmark was set by the fabulous original & that has been met by this trio of producers that have delivered some of the most awe inspiring reworks to have existed. So without further ado, lose yourself into these marveling remixes & see which one strikes you the  most!. 

Last but not least, the final of our magnificent line up for the remix EP comes from Ukraine based wonder VIF, who is always upping the level of quality in any release he puts out. It's no different with this mind blowing rendition of the original, this time diverting from the more mellow sounds & reaching full on into that driving & energetic sound this talent is know for. Never lacking a unique twist; you hear the way the original is captured into a more cleaner & vibrant soundscape with the use of the lovely synth work that marks the signature sounds of his work. One that can definitely be used as a dance floor raiser; the sounds sweep through every crack & crevice highlighting the beauty of the layering used. The vocals are amped up to a more alluring twist with the electronic elements that capture the lighthearted side. Crisp & clear percussions enhance that fast paced feeling whilst letting the vocal do their magic with the haunting chops. What a way to finish this remix EP off, the closing palette that has followed with the rest, offering a nice variety for you all to enjoy. 

An EP that is tremendously appealing in every way possible, these artists have delivered something that cannot be replicated in such a manner. The thought, emotion & skill gone into each one can be heard through every second & nothing less was expected from this dynamic trio of producers. His twist on the mellow original takes a visit to the deeper side, making it unbearably intoxicating as each pulse of the sound used climbs into your senses like chocolate melting in a blazing heat. The wonderfully smooth aura is built right away with the thudding percussions masked with the airy chords & pianos melding together. It highlights the sensuous vocals expertly, forming together to create something so blissful that you can’t help but feel yourself being tugged into the wind. The signature piano stabs & subtle kicks drenched with the bass undertones give an upbeat feel, for those that crave the active side. The breakdown using the strings is well suited to increase the momentum of it being launched back into that smooth sailing drive again. What a rendition to start off with & nothing less from the expert talent that has worked magic into this remix.

Next up we have the superbly talented Poland based Sundriver, another that has left his mark with his works in this community for many years. His incredible talent for crafting some of the most tender yet energetic releases is proven once again with this remix, continuing on with a more upbeat feel than the original. You can feel how achingly beautiful this remix is; the chords striking at you instantly, melting into you mind & lifting your aura as the track progresses. This one brings on the images of summer, something we are all waiting for & what a masterpiece to have this as a soundtrack. The perky percussions lift up the atmosphere alongside the elegant melodic sounds floating along the way in a carefree manner. A breakdown that cannot be described in words adds in a surreal feeling of floating with the delicate tones & synths used with the luscious vocals once again. As expected, another outstanding remix by an immensely proficient artist.
