Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 800+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity.

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

As the creator of some marveling releases such as Tsukiakari Ame on Arrival, Distant Promises on Colorize & Find Our Way remix on sunsetmelodies, this exceptionally talented producer has certainly master the art of delivering some of the most memorable tracks since the start of his musical endeavors. 

We are delighted to present this stunning 3 track release titled "Morning After". The sensual & appealing title itself is a statement to the soft, alluring & tender feelings that this breath taking original emits. The steady blend of the array of crisp percussion sounds create an excellent start to a very chilled out atmosphere & slowly add in those perfect light chords, you have a perfect morning already set. A sweet picture is created with the way those harmonic vocals just float around, slowly intertwining with the delectable piano lines and the gradual development of the various layers of the chords ascensions. If there words to portray a lingering look between two lovers in the morning, there wouldn't be any, there couldn't be any to describe such a magical moment when eyes connect, only something as beautifully composed & filled with love as this production could describe that look.

Our first remix is from the critically acclaimed Indonesian based producer LTN & little introduction is needed for him as he is dominating the scene from every corner. Know for his hard hitting, other worldly trance productions, this skilled producer strips down the luscious original into something that just floats around every sense in your body. With the unmistakable sound of the deep house bass line & soft piano formation, this phenomenal remix is dream like almost. It depicts another story of bright morning rays streaming in to the windows of a cozy & inviting room, the aura surrounded by the presence of long lasting happiness after a passion fuelled connection of two souls becoming one. You can feel every drop of thought, quality & hear felt moment during every second of this intoxicating track. 

The sublime second remix is from the progressive mastermind Talamanca. The mere mention of this name springs to mind the combination of strong, warm & addictive summer chord work mixed with superbly delicate piano lines, electrifying chord progression & euphoric sun laden vocals. You can bet he brings this intimate release that touch of excitement, power & an addictive feeling of togetherness that you can't help but crave. Retaining that light hearted feel of the original, the uplifting energy to this release brings it a breath of fresh air & comfort, something to just listen to while lounging back with your love exchanging nothing but melting smile and, feather light touches in arms that were made for each other. It's difficult to express anything in the language that is love but this vibrant track has summed it up so majestically.
