Presenting another thrilling addition to the label, we give a warm welcome to Timur Kurmangaliyev, aka Tim Iron. This talented young producer comes to us from Kazakhstan & with superb contributions on labels such as Nueva, Macarzie & IAMPhonix Records, we are ecstatic to be able to deliver this stunning 2 track release to you all.

The first release is the sensational, 'Clouds' & just like the object in question, the delicate & soft sound structure is unmistakable & adds in a more powerful building of each sound present. With a prominent baseline that reverberates around, the stronger chord composition & an increase in the speed gives this production an uplifting positivism, just as rain clouds would disperse as the sun streaks through, illuminating the skies and returning the pure angelic clouds to hover among us. The simple vocal line gives it an exotic yet meaningful feeling which follow on as the release begins to hit its peak & returns with the jaunty chords. With a blissful range of textures, this release certainly shines a light through our own skies & mind.

The second production is the deliciously sounding 'Apathetic Serenity, a title that does provoke questioning in terms of the oxymoron meaning. The possibility of being soothed by this majestic release is indefinite, maybe to a point where nothing else matters. Luscious chord progressions are constructed so finely that you can hear each section strum in your ears. The warm pads & light percussions just give it that euphoric feeling that makes you feel like you are being washed under a stream of tender rapids. Refreshingly exquisite, this release contains all the elements of a true melodic piece, making it a language of its own. To find peace & belonging in oneself involves arduous time & thinking, but with this perfectly crafted production, it's only a matter of time till your eyes close in a slumber, letting you mind melt away with this melody fuesd thunder.

Label veteran Vintage & Morelli (Serbia) is back on Arrival with his brand new 2-track EP, "Jakarta". The title track was initially featured on Arrival's latest mix compilation, "Arrival 02: Destination Indonesia".

"Jakarta" takes off with a hypnotic groove and delicious sound effects. Intricate background melodies appear as the song builds, and the lush pad layers add great texture. Gorgeous piano notes emerge in the break, and they are accompanied by a subtle, yet breath-taking flute line.

"Campfire In Bali", featuring another Indonesia-inspired title, begins with a moody groove and mesmerizing synth layers. Subtle vocal stems are added later, as well as delightful, light piano notes. The captivating melodic groove in this track takes the mind of the listener to another universe, and the sublime guitar riffs introduced later are absolutely spell-binding.

Louis Tan is known mainly by "LTN", and we at PD are happy to have him get his hands and feet in the sand of this sound. Both of these names have made their marks on a great range of labels so it is an absolute pleasure to have them develop this top of line EP titled Fly With Me/Always About You for us & for you to sink yourself into. 

The first track, 'Fly With Me' can simply be described as a light hearted, euphorical & mesmerizing production due to its blissfully tender atmosphere that is painted in our minds. With a combination of the softest of chord work mingled in with an escalated backdrop of padded kicks & bass, one does feel like they are traveling above with the birds themselves. The perfectly added vocals add in the essence of what the release is about, being free, flying against all odds & being at peace with the air around you, whether it as independently or with someone special.   

'Always About You' is a much more vibrant & upbeat track that contrasts from its counterpart single on this EP. It is time for another dose of a stupendous & quality filled release here on Perplexity Music, this time coming from US based talent, Kono (USA). It's a pleasure to have him back here with another 3 track EP titled 'Moku/Petrichor' which would be a journey into the unknown but all will be explained the moment you hit play.

The first track, 'Moku' is a delightful number to begin with as it highlights what the EP is about & the story behind its title. You are treated to a host of sun ladened melodies that start off from the moment you press play, illuminating your mind & preparing you for a dazzling production that streams out good feelings & pleasant musings. Moku, a little place of heaven off the Hawaiian coast, a place where the water is as blue as the nightly sky & the sun as blazing as can be, that is where you are transported to from your daily lives; to this exotic & riveting destination. The energetic & subdued synths work well with the overall floating elements of the crisp vocal chops, bringing in flavour & colour to this already extraordinary work of art. A delicate piano line is used for a tender touch to lighten up this exquisite piece bringing it all to soothing & peaceful end; coaxing the lustrous Hawaiian breeze right to you.

There has been a dry spell of weather, but all of a sudden, the rain pours down & engulfs everything in sight, for however long that is. Suddenly, it's bright again & slowly the rain water is drying off, leaving this pungent & dense smell in the air, almost refreshing, as if the pores of rain that are drying are evaporating all around & you can smell it; that, that is 'Petrichor'. As refreshing as the word itself , you can feel that new & untouched feeling of everything being cleansed by the way the gorgeous melody kicks in right away alongside the subtle but strong percussion. The bell like chimes add in that authenticity, with the powerful chord work protruding through to heartfelt sounds. Almost like a rising tide, the breakdown serenades you into oblivion by the light piano lines that purge everything that is dark, leading you into the light before the full extent of the fluttering melody really launches in with the well placed vocal chops; that's when you know you've felt it & tasted it, the freedom after the rain.

Canadian talent Martin Peter brings in his impressive musical artillery for a divine remix of 'Moku', luring you in with the slow & deep chords that spark wonder yet positivity. This beautiful remix really focuses on the sweet melodies from the original, using a great range of chord accentions & vocal chops to enhance the smooth & delicate textures of it. It is vibrant & welcoming, really being one to warm up those blistering & fast approaching winter nights with the right blend of rhythm & melody that works strategically, again taking you away to the warm Moku air that surrounds you.

Another EP that has blown us away & we hope that you felt the same range of emotions that these prodigious artists have managed to extract from the deepest parts of us. It's always viable to learn something new, whether through music or life itself, but we hope you gained not only this intoxicating music that runs in tune with our heartbeats but also a place of contentment & belonging in the mere form of words.
