Wow, 3 disc's of (as the title suggests) absolute stone cold classics. This disc really was the soundtrack of my pre 'proper clubbing' days trying to get into the bars and clubs of Sunderland City Centre. This CD features some absolute bangers like Tony Di Bart's 'The Real Thing', Hard Drive's legendary 'Deep Inside', Felix's 'Don't You Want Me", Sub Sub's "Ain't No Love" and well... the list really does go on, and on, and on, and on. I hope you all enjoy this mix as many of us have. Play it LOUD!

In 2005 I did my 2nd Old Skool event at Satchmos Stoke-On-Trent.

Revisiting my time at Shelleys, Introspective, Freetown, Central Park and the influence from the Hacienda, this mix is a tribute to this time.

About 50% of the trax were a repeat from the 1st event so at the time I never released it. 18 years later I discovered the MiniDisc recordings while sorting my music room and decided that it maybe the right time :)

Tribute to the Gallery Leeds 1992

1994 I discovered a club in Birmingham called WOBBLE. Anyway this is a mix of all the hands in the air tunes from that summer that for me defined my 1994 experience of Wobble. 
I've used a bit of artistic licence with the intro - Some may not agree with every tune choice, some of them may not be the most underground or 'credible' tunes but they were the dancefloor fodder that Phil Gifford and guest DJ's such as Chris & James, Luvdup, etc. were hammering that summer that defined my personal experience... and most of them still make me smile now....  enjoy!

I asked Russ Morgan aka K-Klass to come and drop a few tunes at my party as I wanted some of the original pioneers of the house music scene in this country playing! K-Klass will be celebrating 25 years in the game later this year so I was made up when Russ agreed to come and play....here is his set recorded live at my party!! Pete Bromley has been Stoke On Trent's top House DJ since 1989 and it has been an interesting and varied journey for him! Resident DJ at Stoke's first successful Underground Dance night 'Introspective' back in 1989 he went on to play at the infamous Shelleys Laserdome as well as other influential clubnights across the UK. Pete's next residency was to be at the Freetown in Hanley which would see him play alongside DJ's like Sasha & Dave Seaman. This would become the stepping stone to his next residency, the legendary Golden. Pete was the main resident DJ at Golden for an amazing 11 years which saw him play with the worlds biggest DJ's bar none. During this time he played many guest appearances at places such as Cream, Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound and DJ magazine listed him as one of the most popular resident DJ's in the world, resulting in his Essential Mix live on Radio 1 alongside Pete Tong at Sankeys in 1996. Quite an accolade seeing as he has never bolstered his career with international gigs, remixes or a recording career as 99% of producer/DJ's do these days. After Golden's demise In 2003, Pete then went on to become one of the resident DJ's at Satchmo's which has now become part of Stoke clubbing folkelore and his position has been cemented over the last years as resident DJ for the Move and their parties at The Sugarmill, Spode Warehouse & The Underground  playing alongside Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Skream, Annie Mac, Derrick Carter, Pete Tong, MK, Todd Terry, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Steve Lawler, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Darius Syrossian,Micheal Bibi, Alan Fitzpatrick, wAFF,  Dimitri From Paris, Kenny Dope, Low Steppa, Dan Shake amongst dozens of House musics elite. You can catch Pete at Back In The Day, Blue Collar Disco & Move events @ The Underground/Sugarmill Hanley, Stoke On Trent to see for yourself why he's been at the top of his game for all these years and still going strong!
