So, this is how Interbay parties.   

If I was still dj'ing, I might have thrown this into my NYE mix, depending on the crowd.  It certainly presents a shameless party vibe, ripe for celebration.  The original "Fun Baby" version ended with the fading out of the young men of the beach singing about the enjoyment they'll feel until their male parent removes access to the family vehicle--everything after that was added when it was decided that "Fun Baby (remix)" would be my New Year's Eve Interbay post.  

This is a feast for trainspotters and ex-record store employees.  There's so many different elements at play (with a healthy foundation of 80s, because...Interbay) and, again, this is a track that just makes me feel giddy when I hear it--and I can't wait for YOU to listen to it.   

BONUS INTERBAY POINTS...if you can pick out everything thrown into the blender to make this one happen... 
  
Thank you to everyone who has joined me on this crazy journey of posting never before heard Interbay tracks every single day (so far) in 2024.  I have a lot of plans for the new year, including digitizing music from my previous music making efforts, remixing Interbay experiments that posted previously on Facebook, and seeing how long I can keep this streak of consecutive days posting a track going (we're at 230 days and counting--including one that I took down because it wasn't good enough, and I'll remix and post that one again, I'm sure--and one that SoundCloud zapped (rest in peace, Icarus), though I did quickly replace that one with a reasonable alternative mix.)  

Yes, I'd love to have more listeners.  No, I'm not at a point where I necessarily deserve to have more.  And, unfortunately, no, I'm not in a position to hire anyone to help me with promotion or artwork.  (Though, perhaps someday--I'm working on it...making my mistakes in public and learning as I go along.)  

For now, it's enough that you're reading this...and that you're listening to Interbay.  

However, if you want to help.  Listen to more Interbay.  Give a like to any of the songs you like (there is a DEEEEEEEP back catalog of tracks waiting for you to discover.)  Consider giving an Interbay track a repost or share it with friends.  If you have a playlist that you think an Interbay track should be added to, go for it!  If you have a comment to make (especially encouraging ones), I welcome comments.  I remain backed up on disappointing hopeful marketers who have sent me messages that I haven't responded to yet, but I'm working my way through them...and you can certainly message me if you'd like to.
