Despite the title, this song is ALSO not about sex.  

(Two days ago I suggested that there was a song about sex about to drop.  That track hasn't dropped yet.  You should really follow this page so you know what's going on with Interbay.)  

What we have here is a techno breaks track about Kung Fu.  There is also a cut & paste component to this track, but this is as designed--this is not a Blendersample remix, though I could see where some might think that.  

Energetic and fun, this track is deceptive in its simplicity.  There is a strong structure holding this track from flying completely off the rails--though it definitely feels like it WANTS to go off the rails, the structure is like a highway guardrail, guiding you back on your path.  (Though, if that's how you use highway gardrails, your "car guy" probably owns a backyard pool.)  

I will admit that I do not know the exact movie where the main vocal sample comes from--well, it comes from a royalty-free sample service, but where THEY got it from, I don't know.  I know a lot, but my knowledge of martial arts movies is not exhaustive.  I just loved the idea of someone NOT being a mainstream ninja.  You know, not one of those average every day ninjas...who clocks in to work at 9am every day and goes home at 5pm, where their family awaits them each night.  (What ninja doesn't work nights?)  

As much as I'd like to say that this track is like a spinning back fist to the face, it isn't really that...there is some subtlety here.  Certain things hit hard while other elements of the track offer contrast so those hard hitting parts hit harder.  

I don't know.  I like this track and it came together rather quickly, which is always nice.  I love serving up hot and fresh Interbay tracks, fresh from the Labs...and this one is as fresh as they come!  

...and yes, I know that "Very Deep and Very Powerful" could have been a title for a song about sex, but THIS one is about Kung Fu.  

As always, I appreciate those of you willing to listen to these Interbay tracks I post EVERY SINGLE DAY (so far! We're on a consecutive days dropping a new track streak of over 475 days straight!)
