This is a track that I wrote with a very special group of people in mind, the Blu Tack Family (B.T.F.):
They are DJ's, producers and above all, a family of folks that have made a stance, putting real people, real followers and real music at the forefront of the modern music promotional platforms.
Since I uploaded my first track over 9 months ago: Blue Tack Girl (B.T.G.) has offered kind words & encouragement, re-posted, shared & recommended my tracks & put some amazing music, DJ mixes and producers into my world :) ..................
Her realism, honesty and the ideology of the whole Blue Tack Family inspired this track.

B.T.F. Bringing the Good Vibes (A Slice Of The Funk Breaks Mix)

Whenever earthlings find themselves trying to fend off an alien invasion, their strategy of last resort is often to fire a nuclear missile at the alien mothership, knowing that the resulting explosion will wipe one of our own major cities off the map and make it a destroyed and irradiated wasteland that will be uninhabitable for decades (or centuries) to come...only to learn that these aliens, who traveled millions of miles to this little blue marble of ours and have effective energy weapons, gravity defying spacecraft, and some sort of invisible shielding...can also survive said nuclear explosion with only a temporary loss of combat effectiveness.  

Utter hopelessness ensues.  Until the aliens catch a cold, or a cropdust pilot flies himself vertically into their energy weeapon, or...in the scenario playing out during this latest Interbay track, a bunch of foolish Californians decide to watch what happens from their nearby high-rise condominium.  (Sure, you can look directly at a nuclear blast through a high power telescope and it would only sting a little.  Sure, you can watch the stealth fighters approach the mothership on your television through a security camera that features cinematic camera moves.  Sure, you can stand in front of the floor to ceiling plate glass windows and stare at a nearby nuclear blast and not worry about the blast wave causing the shattered glass to shred you to pieces.)  

...and that's all of the hints you're going to get from me about the source of the samples today's track.  

I'm calling this track "Witnesses" because the sounds you hear are from the perspective of those watching this last line of defense in the sky as it happens.  If I wasn't trying to be clever, perhaps I should have called this "Everybody Get Down"--as that's the phrase you'll hear repeated the most here.  

This is another uptempo electronic dance number with a nasty Moog filter knob twisting a synth arp, crisp drums, both sub bass and reese bass, and a lot of starts and stops, loud bits and quiet bits.  Dynamic and danceable, at times frenetic...this is one Interbay track that comes in loud and deserves to be.  Oh, and there's a nuclear blast in it (see if you can find it!  There's bonus Interbay points if you do!)  

Not much else to say about this one--other than I hope you dig it.  Hope you give it a like, a repost, a share...leave a comment, put it on one of your playlists...and, most of all, I hope you follow this page to be the first to hear what comes next from Interbay, as new, never heard before tracks are being posted EVERY SINGLE DAY (so far!)

Newcastle dream pop outfit Seeing Hands have announced the upcoming release of their debut single ‘I Knew You’. Recorded in their hometown, the track is the first in a series of releases planned over the next twelve months and sparks immediate comparisons to the likes of The War On Drugs and Wild Nothing.

Comprising of Kev Curran (vocals, guitar), Nick Hodgson (lead guitar), Jon Varty (bass) and Liam Guillan (drums), the quartet’s jangly guitars and dreamy vocals have already earned them airplay on Radio X and their profile is sure to be enhanced further following this first single release.
