A track I composed a while ago and just finished it now with addition of female vocals originally a solo piano piece I added some organ and beats and samples here we are lol enjoy!

Emotion

It is rainy and very windy here in Seattle--lights have flickered, the tv rebooted, the door has shuddered a few times.  

So...the PERFECT time for a bright major key piano vocal house track!!!!  Right?  

I spent a lot of time chopping up some vocals and getting the piano part just right (and the reason it starts to fade out towards the end--despite the track having a cold ending) is because that piano got a bit manic.  

I use the term "mutant pop" to describe what Interbay sounds like--but this time, truly, the emphasis is on the "pop" more than the mutant, when usually it's the other way around.  

This is being posted a bit later than usual (but still on the same day, even for those of you in the Eastern Time Zone.  The streak of posting a brand new, never-before-heard track here on SoundCloud EVERY SINGLE DAY (so far!) continues) because, as I said in the previous song's description, I got to listen to some Interbay tracks in the rental car I had while my car was in the shop (thank you, Bluetooth)...and too often, I noticed distortion in the mix on the car's speakers...distortion that I did not put there, and distortion that I did not hear when I finalized those  mixes...SO, I spent a little extra time, chasing distortion demons on this one.  

Wasn't easy--there's more going on than it might seem at first, and trying to blend and balance things was a challenge.  I would fix one thing and that would expose problems with another part.  (As I often say, I'm learning as I go, making my mistakes in public, so that one day, someday, I might be adequate enough of a music producer so I can translate what I hear in my head into what you could listen to here on SoundCloud.
