A melodic ethnic flavored soundscape with a pensive pulse, which becomes increasingly more anxious and powerful toward the end with off-set percussive elements and off-beat /syncopated orchestral SFX.

The mourning violins and the female vocal lament (separately first and then as call / response) create an atmosphere of sadness - anguish and pain of war. The ending briefly highlights the battle and then just evaporates ... into history, or?

This summer i was able to visit the Grand Canyon...this is why the title is "Feeling Small"...Not a single picture is able to represent the greatness of this world wonder.

Feeling Small

The track was originally composed for the producer loops sound libraries in 2014 by Gregor Theelen. I re-arranged and reworked the track to create a more haunting and emotional (vocal focused) moodscape ... contemplating the sad state of our forests, our nature ... Gaia is crying.
