I took up guitar at the age of 15 during the hair metal era and all I wanted to do was be Randy Rhoads and Edward Van Halen. Played in a couple bands along the way and discovered I prefer to be a lone wolf and create and record my own music. I've evolved and mellowed over the years and experimented in a little bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are the Black Crowes, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Rush, Van Halen, Foo Fighters, Porcupine Tree, Joe Bonamassa, Counting Crows and Bob Seger My current musical vision is ambient rock in the vein of Pink Floyd (I adore David Gilmours playing and songwriting)and Steven Wilson/Porcupine Tree. I've taken up the piano and love experimenting with all the fantastic recording and software tools that are available to us. The computer is now an instrument...as valid as the guitar or drums and I use it to create the music that is in my mind. I'm currently concentrating on soundscapes for film and TV work but do not limit myself to any type of music.
