Tarek Iurcich, in arte Rancore, esordisce già da giovanissimo negli ambienti rap e hip hop della capitale. Classe 1989, a soli quattordici anni conquista una solida credibilità sul campo, partecipando a jam session, concerti e gare di freestyle. Nel 2006 pubblica il primo album autoprodotto, intitolato “SeguiMe”. A distanza di quattro anni, esce “Acustico”, EP nato dalla collaborazione artistica con Dj Mike e Svedonio. L’originale combo regala un mix riuscito di voce, giradischi e chitarra acustica, proposto con ancora maggiore impatto nell’album “Elettrico” del 2011.
Nel 2022, anticipato dalla trilogia di brani “Lontano 2036”, “X Agosto 2048” e “Arakno 2100”, esce il nuovo album di Rancore. “Xenoverso” è un termine coniato dal rapper che deriva dall’unione della parola greca xénos, straniero, e del latino versus, volgere. A distanza di quattro anni dall’ultimo lavoro, Rancore pubblica un disco che vuole sfidare i concetti di spazio e tempo, in un viaggio tra rime e versi che superano i confini di ciò che si conosce. 
Le diciassette tracce dell’album vantano la produzione di Dardust (“Eden”), Dade, d.whale, Michelangelo, Meiden e Jano, con cui Rancore aveva già collaborato al precedente “Musica per bambini”. Ad accompagnare Rancore in questa nuova avventura ci sono Nayt che canta con lui “Guardie e Ladri”, ed “Equatore” feat. Margherita Vicario.
