FEELX — KuH 2024

The compilation is a collection of Ambisonic compositions created during a two-week residency at Ambisonics summer school 2023. Soundworks are the recordings of live performances and fixed media pieces presented at MELUSINES event on the 32-channel OTTOsonics sound system in the National House in Ústí nad Labem.


The compositions available on the streaming platforms are binaural mixdown of Ambisonics recordings. phonon~ z.s. would like to thank the Cultural Center of Ústí nad Labem, Löblhof & Artgrund and Faculty of Art and Design JEPU for their support and cooperation in realisation of the project. Ambisonics summer school 2023 was financially supported by the Statutory City of Ústí nad Labem, Ministry of Culture Czech republic and Česko-německý fond budoucnosti/ Deutsch-Tschechischer Zukunftsfonds.

"mʊdʌki is chasing the aesthetics of the 90s raves which she will never experience, creating
a model situation of an inaccessible club culture mirage. In her dj identity mʊdʌki flows in between bass music of such subgenres as jungle, dubstep, dub, juke, and avant garde
experimental electronic music together with sound art, through a wide branch of techno –
deep, minimal, breakbeat, industrial and hard acid techno tunes, all with a strong accent on
the leftfield music scene. She is one of the founding members of phonon~ crew, mediating
experimental electronic music and sound art in czech republic."

A freelance artist and model based in Budapest, with a background in art and design. Deeply connected to nature, her work explores environmental, social, and human rights issues, as well as the relationship between mental states and the natural world. Each selection track reflects her emotions, using music as a way to express thoughts and feelings.Her style is not limited to one genre, allowing her to craft unique and immersive soundscapes. She collaborated with Taiwan&rsquo;s nature-inspired label ANKR, creating a Field Mix using recorded mountain sounds to build ambient textures.As an emotionally rich storyteller, she blends experimental elements with intense energy. She is a resident host on Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR), where her show &zeta;ETACORE focuses on experimental sounds, deep emotions, and hard drum beats. Her mixes have been featured on HER 他 Radio (Melbourne), Voice Radio (London), Immersione Records (Bologna), and TemporaryNites (Budapest). She has performed at Tempio del Futuro Perduto in Milan, invited by Oriental Techno Club, and appeared on Fritto FM (Milan) and Radio 1 with unizone.prague (Prague).Currently, she is exploring different music scenes while producing her own work. In late 2024, she released her single "梵 br&aacute;hman" on the Taiwanese label 我心已死 the world synth records.

Emerging from Czechia and Austria, phonon records return with their fourth transmission 'RESi' - this time dialling into the disrupted consciousness of Linz-based waveform saboteur, Sturmherta...The apex of this nonlinear journey arrives with Track 5, 'Rv' - a full-throttle warehouse exorcism that spits liquid metal from the subs and sculpts siren calls from microphone-feedback interludes. It’s a chaotic opera of post-club dramaturgy, where trap’s rattling percussion meets the oil-slick throb of industrial bass. Think Slikback tangled in a resonant hallucination, lit only by the glow of firewall breaches and strobes.

The unwinding of the flow of the signal that was transmitted into the space some time ago through the radio. This signal is spreading further and further from that time and if we think the whole space into one big vinyl record we could wander around it like the groove on a vinyl record. The Relativity is what accompanies all our actions. There are thousands of perspectives and thousands of grooves to ride back and forth. And that's what I was doing when I was creating this hybrid DJ set with a fragmetnal commentary on the flow of sound imaginatively imprinted in the vinyl groove as a paraphrase of signal transmission in the context of radio. It is an acousmatic montage in different layers of fragments of original radiophonic works made by various local and from abroad artists within the czech radio art project R{A}DIO{CUSTICA}, sometimes also with a bits of author's speeches.
