This track was finished today — on the same day a new life entered the world.
Little Valentin arrived, and somehow the music already carried the light that was coming.

The Spanish vocals speak of water falling from the sky,
of light guiding our steps,
of hearts beating in the same rhythm,
and of love that carries us without fear.
It felt meant to be — as if the song had been waiting for him.

This piece is also a quiet tribute to my daughter Sofie,
whose strength and kindness made me a grandfather once again.
I’m endlessly proud of her.
Valentin’s first dawn is her gift to the world.

And for me, this moment marks both a beginning and an ending.
A new chapter opens for him — and at the same time,
this will be my last public release for a while.

Another track inspired by Adrian Tchaikovsky's "Shards of Earth" novel. 

Idris, the navigator, pilots the Vulture God through sub-space whilst all the rest of the crew are in statis; it's a specialised job for the genetically modified. But there is a problem: navigators experience a nightmarish sensation of some entity seeking them out.

All but one of the several drones were created using guitars with mutiple effects pedals. The vocal effect was created using a Line 6 POD HDX.

A Dark Semblence in Sub-space

Beyn Nafas lives in the space where breath pauses and presence expands.
A slow-moving ambient piece shaped by air, silence and subtle human resonance.

This is not a journey forward or back,
but a moment suspended in between —
where time softens,
and something ancient briefly listens.

Spinning a new leaf for 2026, co:clear presents ‘Imago’ – a pristine collection of modern-classical electronica from Burning Pyre. With impeccable vocal offerings from Australian poet 3NDLES5 and Shell Company lead-vocalist Rosabella Allen, this album represents a broadening of horizons for the Newcastle upon Tyne denizen, who also heads up the Eastern Nurseries imprint.

There’s a poignant sensibility throughout this body of work: thoughtful melodic stabs pair delicately with emotive ambience and precise textural specks. It’s a sonic blossoming that lays its roots in atmospheric-ambient divagations, yet over time blooms with enveloping subs and skittering percussion – flowering fresh strains of dub, downtempo and trip-hop.
