Shadows dissolve into dense fog, ice cracks beneath your feet, and somewhere deep within, a mysterious rhythm pulses—muffled, like the echo of a forgotten world. Swiss musician Rick Fox (@dj_rick_fox), sound architect of Zurich’s nocturnal streets and dim-lit tunnels, invites us on a journey along the wavering edges of reality with his latest release, "Slow Noises EP."

These slow noises are more than just background vibrations. They are impulses—reflections of inner monologues and half-forgotten dreams. The title track, "Slow Noises," drifts through a restless tranquility, each chord a step into the unknown. "Shadows in My Mind" is a dialogue with lingering phantoms, wandering the labyrinths of the subconscious. "Lowpoint" marks a moment of minimum tension, dissolving into a deep reverberant haze. "On Thin Ice" teeters on a fragile surface, threatening to give way, yet the rhythm holds you in delicate balance.

But this time, the universe has woven in another layer of meaning: on the day of this EP’s release, Rick Fox celebrates his birthday. And as a tribute to the occasion, five dub techno alchemists have reimagined his work, reshaping sound into a gift of sonic transformation.

Your head chefs, Piranha Bros. aka Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr), fire up the digital cauldron and begin crafting "Tsar’s Ukha" — a compilation of 13 meticulously selected dub techno tracks from masterful artists across the globe. In this exquisite electronic feast, every note is drenched in moisture, echoes of the abyss, and hypnotic currents.

Leading the way is moodeep (@moodeep) with the enigmatic "Nautilus", where deep bass and magical reverberations create an endless descent — like a spiraling vortex pulling the listener into a boundless state of immersion. Stygmata (@michae-david) & moodeep ride the waves further with "Piaractus Grey", painting the soundscape in steely hues. An album where sound becomes a symbol. ZNAKI is the latest work by the Novosibirsk-based duo Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr), in collaboration with vocalist Ellinda from Ufa. Here, the mesmerizing depths of dub techno meet meditative rhythms and poetic lyrics. This is an album of reflections, of messages — where each track acts as a distinct sign, carrying its own meaning. ZNAKI is a journey of nine tracks woven at the edge of genres, emotions, and states of being. It’s the uneasy cosmos of Siberian soundscapes, where clear lines of unspoken words emerge from the frozen skies of Ufa.

“Шератан” (“Sheratan”) opens the album like a guiding light in the void — a distant star calling you forward through hypnotic ripples.
“Эль Натх” (“El Nath”) pulses with the cold heart of distant galaxies — coordinates etched into the star map: sharp, precise, deeply resonant.
“Меланхолия” (“Melancholy”) is the first moment when Ellinda’s voice pierces the haze — an intimate monologue, scattered across deep tones like a shattered mirror of memory.
“Дахиб” (“Dahib”) sounds like the beginning of a ritual — each synth chord and guitar riff a footprint on an unfamiliar path.
“Знаки” (“ZNAKI”), the title track, merges digital and organic, masculine and feminine, synthesis and breath. A song as prophecy.
“Тень” (“Shadow”) hides between the notes, like a secret room in a house made of sound. The spirit of ritual lingers here: thick dub reverberations, deep bass structures, and a sense of motion through the unknown.
“Разбиться” (“To Break”) is the lyrical apex — Ellinda becomes the voice of an inner wind, the pulse of revelation.
“Восход Луны” (“Moonrise”) is the soft light point — a release of tension, where frequencies mellow like smoke.
“Сны Метатрона” (“Metatron’s Dreams”), the final piece, plays like an epilogue from another universe — a cosmic ambient confession by the new project Nebula Alchemists, where the very fabric of sound is freed from time.

ENERCUBE — a sonic alchemist from Siberia. Oleg Nabivachev, better known as ENERCUBE, is a sound producer and master of subtle sonic states, originally from Biryuch. His music is not just techno — it’s an inward journey. A language spoken in silence. An energetic architecture, where every chord is not an accident, but a structural element of the inner world.

ENERCUBE is the co-creator of Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, a project born in deep synergy with his brother, X_FR. Together, they turn sound into landscape and rhythm into space. Their music feels like Siberia itself — raw, spacious, and full of meaning. And yet, beneath its frosty surface, there’s always a quiet warmth.
