The track is named after the The Kepler space telescope, a now-disused space telescope launched by NASA in 2009 to discover Earth-sized planets orbiting other stars, and named after astronomer Johannes Kepler.

TM Shuffle is more than just a name in the international dub techno scene. The Finnish producer, DJ, and head of VUO Records has a rare talent for distilling the essence of depth, space, and rhythm into his productions. His music is infused with a hypnotic pulse that doesn’t shout loudly but tells stories subtly – of snow-covered landscapes, quiet nights, and an unwavering love for electronic music. What sets TM Shuffle apart is his uncompromising dedication to reduction. His musical philosophy is not about quantity but quality: less is more. By deliberately limiting himself, he becomes more creative – digging deep, searching intentionally for the right sound, and developing a distinct musical signature. This principle is evident not only in his productions but also in his thoughtfully crafted, driving DJ sets.

He shares this passion off stage as well: as the label head of VUO Records, he provides a platform for other artists who share his vision of dub techno – raw, organic, and timeless.

In a personal conversation with Andre Kronert, TM Shuffle offers insight into his creative workflow and studio philosophy. In a world of unlimited possibilities, he consciously relies on a minimalist setup: turntables, a mixer, a few select synthesizers, drum machines, and a computer for sequencing. :::Hypnosis — when the city presses down, and only rhythm helps you breathe. You’re wrapped in Hypnosis — like a signal from a satellite that’s already slipped behind the horizon.

:::Density — when sound gains weight and becomes a body. You dive into Density — its mass like a thick atmosphere from a planet you’ve never seen.

:::Porous — when you let go and let it flow. Porous lets the void seep through — even silence has texture here.

:::Quarks — when everything comes down to tiny vibrations — and they’re everything. Quarks is a quantum tremor, a micro-universe inside a single beat.

Then come five reinterpretations — like beams of light crossing into this sonic sphere:

:::Castle From Indistinct Dreams (@shadow-recruit) draws a dream behind Hypnosis — the kind you’ve had before but can’t place.

:::Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube & @x_fr) turns Density into vintage machinery — like a reel-to-reel echoing in a club basement.

:::Avguchenko (@avguchenko) deconstructs Porous, rebuilds it in a mirror of rain — fragile as glass fog.

:::wave folder (@wave-folder) brings a gift — not just a remix of Quarks, but a birthday transmission, filled with warmth and light.

:::moodeep (@moodeep) closes the cycle with a meditation — where Hypnosis becomes breath. The pulse remains. Everything else dissolves.

These nine tracks form a circle.
A ring. A cycle.
