Born and grow-up in Naples (IT), Alfio Pienne self-taught DJ, Producer and Vinyls Collector starts his journey to the world of music when he began mixing at home disco and classic house records when he was fifteen. After years of performing around clubs of his town, he feels the time has come to move in a production studio to create sounds that better express his music view, with a fresh sound, full of dynamic groove always looking for inspirations from the past. His performances are the perfect result of an enormous cultural background resulting from his constant search for disco and funky music from the golden years to electronic music modern stuff. The same can be said for his productions which constantly evoke sounds coming from the iconic classic house sounds to the funky and soul anthems of the 70s and 80s with a careful vision on current trends. After few years of music production, he makes his way through the national and international labels, coming out with his tunes, which quickly make room in the world top charts supported by international artist and radios. During his intense career, he has had the opportunity to perform, also alongside international artists, in the most prestigious clubs of his city as Golden Gate, Duel:Club, Mostra d'Oltremare, Ippodromo di Agnano, Teatro Posillipo, Club Partenopeo, Discoteca Paradiso, just to mention a few. He also landed with his bag of records in prestigious listening bars in Naples and province as Audioteca, Lento Hi-Fi, Riot and many others. At the end of 2024 he brings his vinyl music to the UK playing twice in London and Hertford. At the moment Alfio is regularly engaged with lots of vinyl selection on Milan - IT, making his records spinning in prestigious venues like Lubna (Fondazione Prada), Onda Listening Bar, Moebius, Gesto, Club Giovanile, Da Orient Concept Store, just to name a few.

Secretsundaze is the trademark of forward-thinking, underground house music. As an artist and brand – spanning parties and festivals, a record label, a studio, an NTS residency and a live band project – it’s been operating for over 20 years and embodies the spirit and community of London’s club culture. But it’s never been one to sit still or rest on its laurels; leave that to the nostalgia crew because Secretsundaze always keeps it moving. 

Take this year, 2024, as an example. Right now Secretsundaze is stepping out as an artist proposition in its own right, helmed by producer/DJ/curator James Priestley who’s currently packing a stack of club tracks that will drop across the year and establish the project as a hit factory for DJs and dancers searching for a fresh take on house music that draws on breakbeat energy and trancey euphoria. Priestley is known to take the roof off as a DJ and now he’s adding to his arsenal with sought-after solo productions of his own under the Secretsundaze name. 

As a tastemaker, Secretsundaze sits at the cutting-edge, bringing new heads into the fold and always looking to champion new talent. His NTS residency, which has seen MoMa Ready, Paquita Gordon and Alex Kassian guest recently, is a reflection of the project’s current dancefloor obsessions. The meticulous curation of the Secretsundaze presents parties and Multi Multi festival, renowned for featuring talents such as Ash Lauryn and Carista long before they gained widespread recognition and uniting visionary artists like Toumba, Tash LC and NIKS under a single roof, serves as a compelling testament to Secretsundaze’s commitment in celebrating new artists.

Now for some history: 2022 saw the launch of Spirit Of Sundaze Ensemble, a full live band project that reimagines anthems beloved of those in the know, recording and performing cult bangers like Photek’s ‘Mine To Give’ and Joyce Sims’ ‘Come Into My Life’. The band has already graced the stages of the Queen Elizabeth Hall (Southbank Centre) and the ICA as well as Beat Hotel and Kala festivals, with a debut LP set for release later this year.

This duality of cutting-edge and classic is what makes Secretsundaze so special. Priestley originally cut his teeth as a d’n’b DJ and a promoter of not-so-legal warehouse parties before becoming an annual resident at the legendary Robert Johnson and landing gigs at Panorama Bar and Queen at Smart Bar, which is the kind of gigography that many selectors would happily settle for. But Priestley’s love of underground club culture has propelled him even further and Secretsundaze is now two decades deep, a pillar of London culture that has poured blood, sweat and tears into the city’s music community. 

Secretsundaze begins 2024 as a solo venture with Priestley at the helm, navigating an ever-expanding musical universe that unearths and re-engages with different styles, genres and music scene via parties, live shows, productions, radio and even a new record label.

Daniel Monaco is a multi-talented artist, producer, and bass player known for his unique fusion of Italo Disco, Proto House, Obscure Disco, and a captivating tropical touch. With a deep-rooted passion for music and an innate talent for creating infectious beats, Monaco has carved out a distinctive sonic identity that transports listeners to a vibrant and sun-soaked musical realm.

Among the new emerging DJs, surely Innocent Soul is not new to most.
Innocent Soul began his adventure in 2016 when he moved to Barcelona. It was there that he immediately gained a certain notoriety residing in some of the coolest clubs around, putting himself in the spotlight with his unpredictable sets, a perfect and balanced blend of disco, house and 90's music, and establishing himself as a party animal with the desire to move the crowd.
This ambition led him to the point of wanting to express himself also as a producer and create his own imprint, @strictlystreetsound, on which in 2018 he released his debut EP, 'Do u wanna dance??'.
As a producer, he tends to encapsulate funk, disco and samples in an explosion of color, delivering warm, disco-flavored house bombs.

After his first release on SSS, Innocent Soul teamed up with his friend Black Loops for a trilogy of releases on Toy Tonics (2018), Rough Limited (2019) and Stolen Goods Records (2022). Additionally, they jointly released on Defected's sub-division, Classic Music Company (2019).
2019 marked his return to his own label with the 'Inside Of You' EP, a disco-tinged 3-track house EP, including a dancefloor dub version by one of house music's 'teachers', Paul Johnson.
In 2020 he released a 4-track EP on Happiness Therapy, a leading French label. The record immediately sold out and it was appreciated by many colleagues.
The following year, '4 The Dancers' was released on Discodelic Records.

Despite his acclaimed productions, it's possible that he made his greatest impact as a DJ, distinguishing himself with sets that are as elegant as they are downright party-like. This infectious fascination has led him to ride various stages with some masters, as well as many DJs worthy of the name.
Late at night and early in the morning, he has given countless unforgettable moments to countless people.

Italian composer, producer and keyboardist Giorgio Lopez was born in the pulsating Napoli of the mid ‘80s, where a deep-rooted tradition was colliding with trailblazing new energies driven by cultural icons such as Pino Daniele, Massimo Troisi, and Maradona. This vibrant mix greatly influenced his music, which reflects a duality of past-era charm and contemporary spirit. 

Growing up as a jazz-funk keyboardist in the city’s diverse musical scene, he developed a distinct style in composing and arranging, shaped by the many influences encountered along his journey. 

Six years in Geneva introduced him to the city’s rich clubbing scene and pushed him onto new musical landscapes - especially the Cosmic/Balearic movement - leading to his first two albums “Palinuro Phonebox” (2020) and “Chalet Miseno” (2022), released on Prins Thomas’ Horisontal Mambo. 

During this same period he discovered a deep love for 1980s French boogie, which inspired “Sud des Iles”, a concept album following fictional skipper Georges Taty as he composes music and sails with his crew of musicians aboard the “Sud Des Iles” sailboat. The record, which pays tribute to Giorgio’s greatest passions (sailing, the aesthetics of the late ‘80s / early ‘90s, and - of course - French boogie) will be released on May 16th on Cosmic Romance, the label of Italian-Swiss producer Ed Longo, who also co-produced the album.
