Abby Echiverri (@echiverri) is a multi-talented producer, musician, DJ, VJ and sound engineer based in Brooklyn, NY. 
Since discovering her music via "Ab Initio" (her 2018 EP on @thebunkerny), our collective have been followers and fans of Abby and the refined yet vibrantly contrasting qualities of her sound. 

Always looking ahead, Abby's explorative approach has a knack of finding intelligent interplays between elements; groove and psychedelic abstraction, lushness and angularity. But most compelling is the naturally hopeful quality that underpins much of her work, providing a sense of freedom and playfulness. 

Needless to say, we're very excited to welcome Abby onto the Patterns of Perception imprint for our third release - her "Deformation" EP. 

And so, Abby Echiverri's Patterns of Perception 113 is a celebration. For this, she has prepared a special hybrid live/DJ set which both channels and expands on the energy and spirit from her release. Bold, diverse rhythms thrum within a kaleidoscopic haze. Sleek energy escalates, approaching catharsis. A cosmic radiance shifts, glancing ever upward.

Estroe Nineties Techno Vinyl Set

Under the alias of Carsten Jost hides none other than David Lieske, co-founder of the seminal deep-house bastion that is Dial Records. A native of the red-brick-dressed Hamburg, David couldn’t have wished for a better school than Germany’s best-known disco-chalet, i.e. the mighty Golden Pudel, where he and longtime partner in crime Lawrence would get to decisively forge their unique sensibility whilst learning the ins and outs of DJing.

As a master of the decks, Carsten Jost covers a wide span of hypnotic house music as much as he enjoys traversing more nuanced spectrums of leftfield electronics and further melancholy-drenched ambient. If the majority of his productions were originally issued back in the early two-thousands, 2017 marked an important milestone in David’s own artistic career with the release of his second album, ‘Perishable Tactics‘, featuring material new and old, including some previously released tracks from his ‘Atlantis’ EP as well as his timeless classic, ‘Love’, originally part of a 2007-issued split 12″ alongside Efdemin.

Within two decades of faultless curation and body-and-soul dedication to their craft, it’s safe to say Dial has become one of the most dependable and respected record labels in the world of electronic music, laying the foundations to a sound catalogue unlike anything else, and which very few out there could ever boast bringing to life: Efdemin, John Roberts, Pantha Du Prince, Roman Flügel, Portable, DJ Richard, Christian Naujoks, James K… the list is long.

And so goes the list of key clubs and events David has graced over the years, with past performances at Zur Klappe, Paloma Bar, Griessmuehle, ://about blank, Panorama Bar, Public Records in New York, REX Club in Paris, Golden Pudel and PAL in Hamburg, JAX in Amsterdam, Jaeger in Oslo, Oval Space and Corsica Studios in London.
