The PLEXIPHONES have been flexing their electro pop prowess and ushering in the underground since 2011, their following growing with every passing gig. Drawing their influence from krautrock kings Kraftwerk, this indie band blooms from their roots through the seminal sounds of new wave wonders the Simple Minds and the untouchable U2. The PLEXIPHONES have a sound so rich and so addictive they are set to take the alternative scene by storm, giving listeners a body of work that tempts toes to tap and hands to clap ceaselessly. Sending seismic blasts of sound right from their roots out to the multitudes of musos baying at the foot of their stage, the music they make echoes through listeners long after the last hook has rung out, their irresistible rhythms stuck on an internal repeat. Forging their own unique iconography from their ingenious iconoclasm, their debut EP and their debut album (The London Tapes and News from the Colonies and their second album Electric), the band have beckoned countless crowds from not just the UK, but Europe in its entirety with their revolutionary blend of rock and roll and entrancing electro. Profound and punchy in equal measure, their latest collaboration with multimillion selling Trance titans Sash! ‘Can’t Change You’ is set to have crowds churning and cheering wall to wall and has already become the second hottest track on Germany’s top 100 DJ Charts, keeping decks across the country spinning for weeks on end.
Coming off the back end of an electric mini-marathon of dates in the UK (supporting the post punk powerhouse Blue Zoo at the Art Bar in Oxford and the Islington’s esteemed O2 Academy) PLEXIPHONES will be releasing their third Album „Break in the Clouds“ in October 2019.

....since I entered the basement of a doctor's office in Kempen in spring 1991 with my freshly purchased red semi-acoustic electric guitar (Aria Pro II), I couldn't stop making my own noise in musical form.
A mixture of 60's garage punk, noise pop, alternative noise and indie guitar stuff and ska influence my songwriting to this day.

Seitdem ich im Frühjahr 1991 mit meiner frisch-gekauften roten Halbakustik-E-Gitarre (Aria Pro II) den Kellerraum einer kempener Arztpraxis betrat konnte ich nicht mehr aufhören eigenen Krach in musikalischer Form herzustellen. 
Eine Mixtur aus 60´s-Garagepunk, Noisepop, Alternativkrach und Indiegitarrengegniedel und Ska beeinflussen mein Songwriting bis heute.
