This time around, we have put together a cassette tape of works by artists from Japan and all over the world.The label is proud to announce the release of Secret Stairs vol. 2, which features the work of several up-and-coming producers including Anitta, Funktor, A/Filatov, Jaquarius, CH415, as well as Methodd, JIN-CROMNYON, lee, and Caramel Chameleon, who have all released or remixed on the label, and Yuki Tosaya, he will also participate.The acid and electro based tracks are sure to inspire you.Designed by SUNTRA, as in Vol. 1, the content is even funnier than last time, and is a wonderful addition to the collection that you will want to have in your home.

The Ick — a sense of sanity amidst the storm of information. This album by Archetype is an abstract scream for something quite fragile — a polarizing society, disruptive isolation, and the fading collective experience. Utilizing dramatic vocals, industrial trip-hop, and post-punk-leaning electronics, Archetype marks the new moniker by the ever-versatile Viennese Rotterdammer, Leonard Prochazka. Following his manifold of concept-driven, instinctive musical output, Archetype's "The Ick" releases in 2024, following "Strapazen und Genesung" as Geier Aus Stahl on Knekelhuis in 2022.

Manu Jaikin is a DJ, producer and co-founder of Alta Costura: experimental label and rave organizer from Buenos Aires, operating rhythms from 80 to 160bpm. In this mix you can hear club sounds going in and out, one hour spanning percussion-driven footwork, trap, techno and bass recorded in one take.

Manu Jaikin - Synthetic Tales - 24.05.24

geo is a project by visual artist Gerome Gadient. Besides streaming speedbient vocals and megabyte stretches monthly via hkcr.live, geo is part of various Basel-based artist initiatives, both on- and offline, such as Periphery Serpentine, a multidisciplinary publisher of contemporary sound.

His work as geo focuses on sampled music, reverberated compositions, and sonic experiments, that incorporate field recordings, noise, harmonic instrumentals, and text to create hypnotic and nervous landscapes.
