Lorelei (Laura Vicinanza) is a Chicago-based DJ, Producer, and Record Store Employee. Originally from Metro Atlanta, Laura began DJing in 2014 when she joined Ann Arbor’s Michigan Electronic Music Collective. She quickly became a resident DJ around the student co-ops and at local venues in Ann Arbor and Detroit. She joined Ann Arbor's 88.3 FM WCBN as a freeform radio DJ and on the long-running Crush Collision program rotation. Laura moved to Chicago in 2019, where she has worked at Wild Prairie Records and currently works at Gramaphone Records. Laura has played events such as Kudzu in Atlanta, Research and Development in Chicago, Interdimensional Transmissions in Detroit, and many more.

Chris has been instrumental in shaping the port city sound through Idle Hands label and legendary record store, providing a unanimously respected and influential platform to Bristol’s underground electronic music scene, now very well represented on the global stage. 

The multiple crisis that the UK independent record industry faces opened the door to doubt, but also to re-invention. Chris Farrell’s resilience, incredible drive, resilience, vision and artist discovery and music selection talents are his best assets, and he has been making use of them over the past months. With a new record label ‘Devil’s Work’ (whose first release is a must-listen) and remarked DJ performances at @loveintfestival and @houghtonfestival , Chris Farrell has been opening new avenues and expressing his creativity in novel ways.

This podcast is a perfect reflection of it. Seamlessly flowing through dub bass lines, percussive rhythms, deep & hypnotic techno and UK flavored tech house, it is a masterclass where the focus is placed on a progressive dancefloor experience and musical storytelling.
