Chris went out for a bike ride one afternoon and never came back. He woke up in a hospital with a broken spine, a TBI (brain injury), and a face so swollen it hurt to speak. Doctors said he was lucky to be alive. And yet somewhere in the midst of all that, still in a chest brace, he started making music again. Songs about almost dying. About the trauma. But also about gratitude. Choosing to live. He would later discover an entire album he has no memory of making. "Carrying On" is the 1st single from that album.
