This is the opening track to my second album, Red Eyes and Gray Skies, out on BleepLove.
The album contains 12 tracks, as well as 2 bonus tracks, and features Rymdkraft, Super Robotic Encounters & Robot Orgy Massacre, all of which has truly inspired and influenced me over the years.

"Symphony of Apathy" is also the sequel to one of my older tracks; "Apathetic Theme".

I originally made this with the intention of entering it into Famicompo Pico 4, until I found out that that wasn't gonna start until December. So, I decided to share it now because why not.

Yes, that's the same description as the Doom song.

I was inspired to create this after hearing the beautiful soundtrack of the remake of Wonder Boy III... and then listening to the Master System version.

Original Date of Initial, By-Ear Composition - December 2018

Hailing from their 16th and 18th studio album (in the UK and US, respectively) from roughly 4 decades ago - this was originally recorded in the late '70s as an abandoned reggae rock track for Some Girls - one of the Stones' previous albums around that time, "Never Stop".

It was then abandoned and reworked, however, under the tutelage of engineer Chris Kimsey at both Electric Lady & the ill-fated Hit Factory in NY, and was later used in various commercials - most notably Microsoft Windows 95 (also, who could forget that Bob Rivers parody?!) / Omega watches.

Original Song: The Rolling Stones (the ill-fated RS Records / Virgin Records / EMI / Universal Music Group, 1981) - under FAIR USE (NO INFRINGEMENT/PLAGIARISM INTENDED)

The Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up" (8-Bit Cover)

Although I'm not big on sports whatsoever - the iconic song on which this cover is based is commonly used for the New England Patriots' entrance theme...but I digress!  Hailing from his post-Black-Sabbath debut solo album 'Blizzard of Ozz' - Osbourne's song revolves around the fear of annihilation and anarchy during the Cold War, and is one of his best known and recognizable as a solo performer.  

Not only was the song rated 9th greatest guitar solo ever by readers of Guitar World magazine, it was also ranked 9th by VH1 on their 40 Greatest Metal Songs list and was named the 23rd-greatest hard rock song of all time also by VH1 in '09 - the highest placement by a solo artist on the list.  

Now...GUESS WHO'S FINALLY MANAGED TO HELM YET ANOTHER NES-INSPIRED REARRANGEMENT OF IT!!

After 1/4 of a century, who could forget that opening sequence...let alone one of its supporting stage themes?!  Hailing from one of the most controversial VS fighters rivaling even WB / Netherrealm Studios / the ill-fated Midway's ever-popular MK franchise....except this was by the once-great-but-long-since-buried Atari, here's my usual NES tribute to Sauron's 'Red Beach' stage - featuring cues from its Genesis (the one I'm the most familiar with amongst many other ports) and CD soundtrack, "All the Rage".

Primal Rage - "Beachin' (Sauron's Theme)" (NES Version)

From their 7th studio album circa 1990, 'Violator' - this classic DEPECHE MODE ballad was first recorded 3 decades ago prior to the fact, thanks to its legendary songwriter's (Gore) initial, ballad-like version which was reworked into the finalized uptempo version at the whim of its then-backup vocalist/keyboardist (Wilder).

Now - as ever - hear it like you've never heard it before...MINUS ALL THAT FAKE-ASS "GXSCC" CRAP!!
