Absence makes the heart grow fonder. The oscillating waves of connection run high not only when together but when apart. Dame and Damage was born out of a time away from my beloved. My imagination envisioned us together through all the ages starting back in the castles of medieval times. During this primitive era, circumstances created a need for a higher form of love. I crave this deepened unity overcoming all.

We’ve all heard this story, or maybe watched someone close to us live through it. 'Before' recounts the tale of a person discovering they've been living a lie. The lyrics explore that brutal transition from blind trust to absolute disappointment. It’s a song for anyone who needs a reminder that when the truth finally comes to light, the only thing left to do is say goodbye and keep walking.
