Affectum Infernum - Journey

En la antigua mitología griega, existe un perro de tres cabezas llamado Cerbero (también cancerbero) que guarda la entrada al Hades (Inframundo). Esta mítica criatura incorpora no sólo las temidas características de un canino, sino también una extraña mezcla de distintas criaturas que le dan un aspecto espeluznante.
Se dice que sus tres cabezas representan el pasado, el presente y el futuro. Por otro lado, otras fuentes indican que representan el nacimiento, la juventud y la vejez. La más poderosa habilidad de este perro mitológico era su mirada, la cual era tan horrorosa que cualquiera que lo mirase se petrificaba al momento. Se dice que Cerbero tenía afilados dientes y una mordedura venenosa. El veneno que goteaba en el suelo crecía como una planta llamada acónito.
