Taken from my third LP, Corkscrew Soul. 

Written, recorded and produced by me. 

This is a stripped back track without drums. I wanted there to be some friction for the listener, so it's not meant to be the easiest of listens in places; there's at least one discord in there. During the cello line in the chorus, I imagined an elephant trudging off to die alone, which might be the most pretentious thing I've ever said. 

But I hope it's an interesting track nonetheless with different layers to explore. 

This song also has a sister track, Winter of Discontent of Your Life, which is the last track on the LP; I Won't Be Found coming at the halfway point on the album. 

Does it all make more sense now? Probably not.
