“Me costó meterme en el mood ya que llevaba mucho tiempo sin pinchar pero después de unos intentos entré en calor y no encontraba el momento de parar. Al final fueron tres horas. Pensé en hacer un edit y cortar por algún lado pero ya que lo tenía grabado, por qué cortarlo. Os lo comparto tal y como quedó”.  El estilo, el de siempre de Refracted: techno como idea y conducto más que como sonido fácilmente etiquetable. Música de baile en la que los ritmos en capas actúan casi a nivel subepidérmico, neuronal donde los paisajes sonoros en movimiento y evolución adquieren una fisicidad táctil.

Para el productor y dj afincado en Berlín, la música electrónica, y el techno en particular, es el medio elegido para encontrar su voz para conectar, más allá de un entretenimiento formulista o una banda sonora para bailar. Floating Machine is Antonio Lourenço, a portuguese producer within the experimental ambient techno scope of sounds. He gathered influences from Jazz and Ambient to techno, with Psychedelic and Hypnotic soundscapes. Learned and played regularly instruments like guitar, piano or sax and took part in some experimental projects in distinct areas like jazz, funk or reggae.
Influenced by the electronic music, start to produce, exploring these early influences into techno context and also leaning deeply into the palette of ambient experimental sounds
Boom Festival, Hadra, ZNA Gathering, Freedom Festival, are some of the events where Floating Machine has performed.
You can find his music on Bandcamp, or labels as Circular Limited, Aarden Records, Digital Diamonds, Techgnosis, Electrik Dream, Mindspring and Blind Arc. Using music to connect and communicate, taking the listener to adventurous and unpredictable aural journeys is what he is intended with his productions.

 Laima Adelaide is a Stuttgart-based artist and label founder of Predawn Records together with Nils Edte. She studied classical composition at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Her sound signature is unique, both minimalist and pure, with impeccable sound design and an aesthetic close to the Bauhaus school. Through subtle frequencies and the use of poly-rhythms, Laima Adelaide proposes a vision of a macroscopic or molecular world, where atoms collide and the space between electronic music and natural space dissipates.
