I appreciate all the comments, likes and repost that you leave me in my compositions.

I make music for fun and to get away. I have multiple styles, although my biggest influence is in electronic music.

I am self taught and learned with Music Studio 2 on a first generation ipad 11 years ago. I have never composed before. Perform more than 80 songs a year for the first 6-7 years to learn about the program and develop creativity to compose. I have listened to different types of music throughout my life and maybe that has helped me.

I still compose only with an ipad (last generation), but I no longer work only with native MS2 instruments since I have expanded my instrument library with programs such as Audiokit, Digital D1, kv331, Sunrizer, etc ...

My music can be downloaded, but not used for commercial purposes (my authorization is required).

Hello everyone. I'm glad you're interested in my music. I'm a guitarist. I used to be in a band, but that ended in failure, and now I write songs and play guitar for my own pleasure. The songs are born in my little room. After years of not playing guitar since I stopped playing in a band, I am now able to play here again and feel the joy of playing guitar and touching music again. That's why it's so wonderful for me to interact with the inhabitants of this Soundcloud. By the way, I'm very talkative, so I'm always looking for pen pals. Mark Ames has been writing and singing songs since the 70’s. He plays guitar, flute, piano and composes in a wide variety of Genres. He has composed for Choral, Orchestral, Soundscapes, String Trios and various ensembles including Electronica, Rock, Blues, Jazz and Folk.

Recent focus has been on mixing live instruments with electronic and studio techniques. Also working on inputting various compositions written in the past into Sebelius and resurrecting old analog tape recordings for source material.

Educated at Pierce Community College, Moorpark Community College, and California State Northridge; majored in Composition and Theory with Guitar as Major Instrument. Also took all the classes available for Electronic Music or Music in the Studio.

The music project "Present Paradox" by Dortmund-based David Kleinekottmann provides insights into the often opaque nature of the present. These days, everything is recorded through my Mackie Onyx 8 analogue mixer.  I prefer to create sounds on my analogue synths but you'll also hear sounds created with my Korg Wavestate and Roland S-1.  All percussion/drums are played by me on my Native Instruments Maschine Mikro Mk3, where I spend a lot of time manipulating samples to hopefully get something original sounding.
