About Solkist:
Solkist, a world traveling electronic ace, guarantees an energetic dance party. Considered to be a “music mixologist,” she has sounds for everyone to jam out to. With her sneaky ninja-beats, bass’d up remixes, and funky jams, Solkist weaves wildly flavorful ear candy. This female DJ has a huge stage presence and even bigger anthems that crowds and clubs get electrified by. You’re sure to enjoy the bouncing jams that Solkist delivers.  
She first fell in love with electronic music in 1995 and began her international house and trance collection. Traveling across the globe to pick up the latest and greatest live sets, Solkist soon had an incredible library of rare and treasured tunes. Solkist has opened for Dirtybird Resident J.Phlip, Fort Knox Five, and Tronik Youth, amongst other heavy hitters. She has written and produced deep house songs as well. Solkist’s unique flavor bridges the delicious sounds of bass imulsified melodic house, with a kickin’ 4-on-the-floor beat, and instrumental audio for an explosive full-spectral experience!

Solkist Live at Unison Campout 2022 on RIPEcast

This one's special folks! We have a tag team peak poolside set from a father/child tag team! Denver and Serika Drake! And we know age ain't nuthin' but a number for sure because the set it SLAMMING. Enjoy!

Here's what Denver had to say about their mix: 
"We had a total blast at the campout and can't wait to do it again!  Serika was super nervous playing in front of so many accomplished DJs and their families (so was I) but, they made some great transitions and out shined me a lot in this mix for sure.  People asked us at the campout if I picked all the tunes and the answer is that I picked about 1/3 while Serika picked the rest.  I am super proud of my incredibly artistic child and think they did a great job and it was so much fun to play with them!"

About Denver Drake:
Denver Drake is local to Santa Cruz California and has been spinning music and throwing parties for several years in the area.  He likes to throw togehther high energy dance tunes from funky house to bass house and breaks.  A part of the Santa Cruz DJ Sessions crew as well as the UNISON online shows that were put together during Covid 19 lock downs, Denver has been super excited to play to live people in recent months.  He hopes to see you on the dance floor soon! 

About Serika Drake:
Serika is Denver's child and was 14 when they started mixing on their Dad's controller.  Serika loves breaks and is an impressive hip hop dancer.  They live in Santa Cruz with their parents Denver and Stephanie, and are attending high school and are part of the marching band playing sax.  A shy kid that comes alive on the dance floor, they  mix with quick cuts and try to keep the dancers moving the way they like to."

Denver and Serika Drake Live at Unison Campout 2022 on RIPEcast

This set was a dream.   My set started at 12am, as did my birthday. 
 I played after international legend, producer and label boss, Saeed Younan, who lit up the dance with a technical and creative deep jacking and tribal set.  Working with Footwork Entertainment has been nice.  We are seeing fantastic response to shows that we are 100% creatively behind.  Bringing in house music legends to headline long shows that start early, headliner for 2 hours starting at 10pm. and bringing in a diverse offering of our local talent, for 2 room parties running 7pm till 2am.  We are seeing broad support and plan on running with it.  Big thanks to Daniel James, who brought me on as partner in his project.  Thank you for your efforts and your trust.  But the people I really need to thank are the ones on the dance floor.   Your quest for release is what drives me.  Let's get higher together.  Elevate our minds, bodies and soul.

Revolution 1988 EP is an innovative interpretation of early House and Acid House vibes.
