Next in up in my weekly mix series is this little slice of house music from my Wednesday residency at The Mint Victoria:  DJ Primitive's Hump Day Heaters.  I nabbed this hour of house music and its one of my favourite improvised house mixes to date.  Reminiscent of some of my housier Veneto sets from my weekend residency there circa 2010- 2019- except the music is generally more modern.  Dig in!  hope you likey.

There’s nothing ancient about Primitive’s sound or technique.  Pushing the DJ and rave lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest since 2000, supporting the music community by creating a slew of residencies, coordinating gigs for other DJs, promoting shows and developing the community through platforms like Party People Sound Solutions, Primitive Hustle, and PK Sound Victoria. Primitive’s sound connects the dots between Techno, House, Breaks and Acid, while also dabbling in offshoots of Drum and Bass including Footwork, Juke, Half Time, and Jungle. A DJ’s DJ that can burn down any dance, Primitive sets are system flexing.
